(I'm so sorry I didn't get this out earlier...I got busy with other things and then I forgot about it so you can yell at me or whatever...and if you notice parts that look like other books, sorry. My book ideas come from others, and I don't mean to copy anything. anyhoo, here is the next chapter and I hope you enjoy!)
Everyone started clapping as Ocean stood, and the king beckoned to her.
"Oceanwing had once thought she was human, not knowing of her heritage, and now we know that she is one of us!" he announced. "She will now take her place beside us and one day rise to the throne as queen of our beloved kingdom." Ocean took her seat, blushing at his words, and then the banquet began. During the banquet, Winter recommended some certain foods she thought that Ocean would like. When Ocean tried a bite, she like it a lot! Soon the banquet was over and Winter brought Ocean back to her room.
"I'll come get you in the morning, Ocean, and if you need you can go into the library to read, but don't get caught by the guards," Winter whispered to her as she left. Ocean curled up on her bed, thinking.
Will I be able to complete this quest? Will I be able to change the world like father said? To calm her thoughts, she thought of the waves from the lake sliding along the shore. she fell asleep soon after, and her dreams were silent.
"Ocean, Ocean, you need to wake up!" A voice whispered loudly. Ocean opened her eyes and saw Winter gently poking my wing.
"I'm up," she mumbled, slowly sitting up.
"Good, you're awake," Winter said. "Greenblaze wanted me to bring you to the courtyard to start your training."
"Training?" Ocean asked.
"Yes, you will need to train in fighting, etiquette, and you'll be learning our history," Winter explained.
"I guess I can try!" Ocean answered, following Winter out of the room.
"I'll be accompanying you to all your classes, since you'll get lost pretty easily here," Winter announced as formally as she could, but she caught Ocean's eye and they both howled with laughter.
"You aren't very good at the formal bit, aren't you?" Ocean asked between giggles.
"No, not really, but I can manage it in front of our kingdom," Winter answered as her laughs subsided. "Hey look, we're here!" We entered the courtyard where a deep green-scaled dragon was waiting. "Hi, Jade, we're here for Oceanwing's battle training," Winter called.
"So you must be Oceanwing," he murmured.
"Yes, I am," Ocean answered nervously.
"Don't worry, Jade is a big softie when you get to know him," Winter whispered.
"Are you ready to start your battle training?" Jade asked, but something caught Ocean's eye. she saw Greenblaze watching her, his eyes full of hatred. Suddenly she heard,
Soon I will become king, and we can rid this world of those humans once and for all! The best way to get to the king... is to frame her.
