Chapter 2: Now you care

I slowly opened my eyes and see bright lights "Am I dead?" I question aloud. I sit up and wince from the pain that shot through my body, well I guess I'm not dead considering it's not supposed to he this painful. I get in a sitting position and see a button.

Should I push the button? I hesitated, I mean I'm in a hospital. I push the button and soon a nurse comes in. "Hello sweetie how're you feeling?" She asks checking the  monitors.

"I'm fine, Do... Do my parents know I'm here?" I ask awkwardly. Everytime something happens to me my mom and dad come see me tell me how much they 'love me' and then go again. "Alpha and Luna have just been alerted of your situation they and your brothers should be here soon" the nurse say smiling and leaving.

I nod my head and give a weak smile. I close my eyes and lay back relaxing. Soon the door burst opens, I open my eyes and I see Parker is standing there with wide eyes. "Squirt what happened?!" He comes over and sits on the chair to my left. I start to get teary eyed, hopefully I can get away without telling my parents. They don't know about this and I don't plan on letting them, last time I tried telling them I got shut down.

"A-Anthony and his friends" I whisper. He knows what I'm talking about. He soon starts shaking and his eyes darken.  "I'm going to kill them" he says clenching his teeth. "No Parker, it's fine I'll do something just don't please" he sighs and shakes his head, he nods and gives me a hug.

He sits down in the chair next to my bed. The door opens and my parents and siblings come in. "My baby!" My mom screams and comes up and hugs me. I wince since my mom touched a bruise but I hug her back. I inwardly roll my eyes.

Thank god my arms are covered, my parents and siblings don't know, they don't take the time to know. My dad hugs me next. They all sit down on my right side. "What happened?" My dad asks. I look at Parker in a panic, What do I say happened?! "Uh-I-um-".

"A classmate did this to her." Parker says quickly. Thanks Parker you bloody idiot! "What?!" My dad and mom shout. I flinch away, my breathing quickening some. Parker notices and quickly comes over to me. "Hazel look at me and take deep breaths it's okay I promise nothing bad is happening" I take deep breaths while I stare at him. "Better squirt?" I nod my head smiling.

"What just happened?" My mom asks Parker. He sighs, "She almost had  a panic attack, she can't stand yelling die to a situation that happened with a classmate a couple years ago." He explains. "This is just a waste of my time" Luke says, Damien and Ashton agree with him.

Parker takes a deep breath while clenching his teeth  "WASTE OF YOUR TIME?! It's a fucking waste of your time when your sisters in the hospital?! You don't bother to ask her what's wrong or try and spend time with her! She has bloody panic attacks and depression, not to mention she's self harmed. You guys have never been there for her! I always have! You are shit brothers" Parker tells my brothers while his eyes turn dark.

My family sits there stunned. I look at Parker.
Thanks you bloody idiot!
Parker: It just came out I'm really sorry squirt. But they need to know what you're going through
It's okay, they would've found out eventually.

My brothers shake their head and roll there eyes, "yeah okay whatever, just explain how she ended up here so we can leave" Ashton says. My eyes start getting teary eyed, their sister was in the hospital yet they still don't care.

Parker hugs me while I hold back tears, I lay my head on his shoulder. "You're all inconsiderate assholes, Can't you see it hurts her that you don't care?! Bloody hell no wonder I have to talk her out of running away sometimes" Parker says sighing.

"What?!" My dad shouts, My moms eyes glisten with unshed tears. The doctor comes in, "Hello hazel how're you feeling?". "I-I'm feeling fine" I say giving a weak smile, actually my whole body hurt like hell. The doctor rolled his eyes.

"Nice try hazel" he started checking the machines and putting some stuff in the Iv's that when connected to me. The doctor soon left leaving me with my family and Parker.  "I'm sorry Hazel but we have Alpha and Luna duties that need attended to." My dad says smiling weakly.

My brothers get up and leave the room. My mom gives me a kiss on my cheek and leaves with my dad. "Parker...." I whisper, he looks at me raising a eyebrow. "Can....can we run away today?" I ask quietly looking at him. We've talked about it before, since we are like siblings. He's my brother from another mother. He smiles sadly and ruffles my hair. "Sorry squirt, I can't.  I'm becoming Beta in a couple days" I smile at him "Congrats Parker!" I'm honesty happy for him.

The doctor comes back in, "Hazel can I talk to you alone?" Parker ruffles my hair and leaves. "It's about your wolf, I know you can hear your wolf but you can't shift, I've figured out once you meet your mate you'll be able to shift." He says smiling, it doesn't look like a honest smile although, it looks pained??

"Thank you doc, Am I clear to leave?" He nods and unhooks me from the machines. I get up and walk out to see Parker against the wall making out with a girl who has blond hair. I awkwardly cough, and inwardly throw up, and stand off to the side.

Parker pulls away from the girl and growls lowly, getting annoyed. He spins looking around when he realizes it's me. He stares at me and wraps his arm around the girls shoulders. "Hazel, This is my mate zoey." I give zoey a smile, "Congrats Parker I'm so happy for you."  They both smile at me and walk away.

"Atleast he's having a good day" I mutter and walk out of the pack hospital. I head home since it's not far from the hospital. I get inside and into my room. Tonight's the night I'm going to my hideout, whenever I'm stressed or life gets way to much, I go there.  No one knows about it except Parker, but he doesn't know the exact location.

I grab my backpack and start packing stuff inside it, clothes, food, drinks.  I put the bag by my door and lay down and play on my phone. I turn on a movie and decide to try and sleep. Since I'm going to be leaving to my hideout later. I slowly drift off to sleep as I cuddle with my blankets and wrap myself in a ball.
