Aliens!

Three

It's been about half an hour. Grandma is here. Thea and I are in her car. "Oh no." Thea said. I realize the green lights are back. "Grandma we have to go now." Before she could pull off, we all see a huge spacecraft hovering about twenty feet in the air. We're sitting in the car, just staring at it. "Grandma!" She isn't moving, she's frozen, still staring at the spacecraft. It's getting lower and lower. "They're landing Kait!" "Grandma go!!" I scream. She starts the engine and speeds off as fast as she possibly can. As we're driving, I turn around and see the spacecraft land in front of the house.

After the forty-five minute drive from Blackcrest to Woodviolet, we're finally at Grandma's house. We get out of the car with our belongings and make our way inside. Thea and I start unpacking and get situated in our room that she gave us for whenever we spent our summers here. Grandma comes in.

"Where's the rest of them?"
"We don't know."
"You wanna explain to me what that was back there?"
Thea and I told her everything we knew, from the noises we heard when the creatures broke in, to finding out we were the only ones in the house. We didn't know where the rest of our family were or if they had been taken by those creatures. By the time we finished telling her, Grandma looked confused and scared.

None of us could sleep after the terrifying night we just had.
"How are we gonna find them?" Thea asked Grandma.
"I don't know, child."
"We have to go back."
"We can't, T. It's too risky." I say.

Before Thea can respond, we hear sudden banging at the door. It frightens us at first.
"Who the hell could that be at 3 in the damn morning?" Grandma says obviously frustrated. She gets up to get the door. Thea and I follow her.

"HELP! GRANDMA PLEASE HELP ME!" Screams a female's voice. Thea goes wide eyed once she realizes who's on the other side of the door. She speeds past me and then Grandma and heads straight to the door. She quickly unlocks it was swings it open. She stares at the person at the door as they stare right back. They stare for at least five seconds before they speak. "Thea!" "Sarah!" She tightly grabs her wrist and yanks her in the house.

"What happened to you?" We all look at Sarah. She's covered in the slimy stuff that we found a trail of back at our house. "They got me, the aliens got me."
