We're in the living room now, sitting quietly listening to Sarah speak. "I was in bed sleeping, next thing I know there's wet slimy tentacles wrapped around me carrying me out of my room. Before I could scream, one of them covered my mouth. They took me through the backdoor to their ship. Mom and dad were there too."
"WHAT?!" Thea and I scream.
"They're..." Sarah starts to tear up and her voice cracks as she tries to continue. "They're dead." We're all in shock. Thea is screaming and crying hysterically into Grandma's chest as she holds her trying to comfort her. Grandma's crying too. I'm sitting still. Frozen again. After a minute, Sarah begins again.
"They sacrificed their lives to save me from the aliens. I was able to sneak off the ship and back in the house. It was empty and destroyed though." Now we're sitting in complete quietness as we silently cry. Thirty minuets pass before the silence is broken.

"Where's Belly?" Grandma asks Sarah. "I don't know where exactly, but he's in Blackcrest." I get up, grab the car keys and head outside. The twins follow me. "Kaitlyn!" I turn around and see Grandma making her way towards us from the porch. "I'll drive." She says as she takes the keys from my hand. We all get in the car and start out journey back to the alien invaded town.

We're back in Blackcrest, driving down the quiet blocks looking for Bellamy. "What if they come back before we find him?" Thea asked. "That's just a risk we'll have to take." Grandma answered. We drove around for twenty minutes and Bellamy still hasn't been found.

"Do you have any idea where he'd be?" Grandma asked. I thought about it. 'Where would he go?' Then it hit me. "The library." Grandma made a quick u-turn and sped down the street. In about five minutes we were there. We all rushed out the car. He wasn't out front. "He's not here." Sarah said. I ran to check the back entrance, but he wasn't there either. 'Dammit.'I walked around the block and I saw a lanky brown haired boy sitting on the curb. 'Bellamy?' I kept walking but the green light came back before I could reach him. The spaceship was back. The boy got up and turned around. "KAITLYN!" He screamed. "BELLAMY!" I started running toward him but he just stood there. "NOOOO!" He cried. I kept running. The spaceship is hovering right directly above me. The green light shone on me. I stopped. I can't move. I'm stuck. I watched Bellamy as tears streamed down his face. My feet are no longer touching the ground, I'm being lifted into the air. I see the twins come from around the corner with Grandma close behind. They see me and start screaming my name. I begin to feel a burning sensation all over my body. It's like fire. I'm looking down on my family from mid-air as my limbs start to disintegrate. 'What's happening to me?!' I'm almost all gone. I look at them one last time before I vanish right before their eyes.
