Sorry this update took a million years, but it was hard to come up with this stuff. Ok, I've been ignoring it. Bit I was really in to Where Did We Go Wrong. Please read that! Anyway, enjoy! ;)
I walked back into the lunchroom, still thinking about Josh. Did I just kill the most popular guy in school? What will I tell his friends?
"Where is Josh? You done talking with your future husband?" His friend, Jake mocked me. I shot him a glare.
"Shut up," I told him. All of Josh' s friends, which is practically the whole school, were staring at me.
"I didn't do anything!" I shouted. A Little louder than I meant to. They stared even more. Now I'll be the tall of the school, and not in a good way.
"Where is my best friend?" Jake demanded.
"In... um... can I talk to you?" I stuttered.
"If it will get my best friend back," Jake agreed. I pulled him outside.
"Jake, the Floor Game is real. I know, it sounds crazy, just watch," I said. I hovered my foot above the lava, and Jake looked stunned.
"Whoa... wait. What does this has to do with Josh?" Jake asked.
"Josh didn't believe me. I showed him, but he thought it was a trick. So he stuck his foot in the lava. And well, it sucked him up. He didn't melt or die or anything, it just sucked him up," I explained. He looked like he really understood. It was weird. I actually liked talking to Jake for once. And I hate the guy. Strange...
"Lets go back in, before we get caught," I said.
"Umm... ok. But before we go in, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for making fun of you before," Jake apologized.
"It's, uh, fine," I mumbled. Was he buttering me up? Was he actually apologizing? Whatever this was, I kinda liked it. We walked back into the lunch room. When we were walking, I think I even saw out if the corner of my eye his hand reach for mine. Was he trying to hole it? Or was I just imagining things?
