29 readers? Come on guys. Not even 45? Sad, sad. Tell you friends.

"Lilly!" I screamed. Lexi and Lilly were silent.

"I don't know what to do! How is this happening? The only place I have seen a dark mark like that, is on a movie where this evil girl comes in, and tries to kill the main character's friends!" I shouted.

"You mean me?" I whipped around to see a girl that looked exactly like what I was describing!

"No, no!" I screeched, and I grabbed Lexi and Lilly and we ran.

"Come here, there is nothing to be afraid of!" I heard her calling to me. I kept running. I stopped by the lunchroom door and screamed for Jake, man I sounded desperate!

"Jake! Come now. There is an evil girl running at us!" I screamed. Jake got up as soon as he heard his name. He grabbed Lexi and Lilly out of my arms, and started carrying them, we ran. Man, this guy was strong. Before  I was struggling to carry one of them.

   "Thanks Jake," I said.

   "Anything for you," he replied.

   "Uh... what?" I asked.

"I said... um... I mean I..." Jake stuttered.

"Come here!" We could here the lady saying.

We ran as fast as we could to the gym.

"We'll hide behind the mat against the rock climbing wall, ok?" Lexi, Lilly and I all nodded.

When we rushed into the gym, we were surprised to see people were already in there.

   "Laura? Drake?" I stuttered.

"Oh, hey," Drake said. He was totally calm.

"Emma, we don't have time for their games, come on," Jake said, nodding towards Drake and Laura.

"Whoa, I wouldn't say their games. You used to be one of us!" Laura defended herself.

"What?" I asked. Lexi and Lilly hit me to say it's time to go.

"Jake, the mats," I said. Jake looked like he was going to punch either Laura or Drake in the face. But he quickly snapped out of it and Lilly, Lexi, Jake and I headed for the mats. We were in, but Drake stopped us.

"Don't worry Emma, I'll take care of them," Jake said.

"Drake, leave us alone. What are you even doing here?" Jake questioned.

"I should be asking you the same thing," Drake retorted.

"Well, there is a evil girl apparently following us, trying to kill Emma!" Jake defended me.

   "Oh, doubt it!" Laura laughed.

Just when Jake stepped back in the mats, the girl burst through the gym door.

   "Where is Emma?" She hissed.

"Uh... I don't know... I was just shooting baskets with her!" Drake said, flustered.

"I don't believe you!" She shouted.

"Well, you saw right through me. Aren't you smart? You cracked me. They are in the library," Laura said. I was relieved, they helped us!

When the girl was gone, I stepped out from behind the mat.

"Drake! Laura! You are great!" I shouted.

   "Greater than me?" Jake mumbled.

"Ooo! Somebody has a crush!" Laura laughed.

   "Shut up!" Jake yelled.

"Fine, no need to be sensitive!" Laura snapped.

"Uh, sorry to interrupt, but who was that?" I asked.
