Jake's pov:
I can't believe Emma ditched me for Drake and Laura! Laura is definitely not stronger than me! Ok, maybe a little. But still. I shouldn't have to take these stupid girls that were dumb enough to lose their voices. I should be protecting Emma from any harm.
As I was thinking on my way down to the library, I saw a flash of black.
"Lexi! Lilly! Veronica is coming! In this classroom!" I whisper shouted. We all jumped into the classroom and quickly ran behind the piano, we had accidentally jumped into the music room.
After I checked around the corner that Veronica was gone, we went out. Once we got into the library, we saw a girl standing there, she had red with orange highlights in her hair. I pushed Lexi and Lilly behind me, hoping that they would tell Emma what a brave hero I was.
But then I realized what she was doing, she was reading! I stared at her. She was really interested in that book. I looked at the cover, Harry Potter. Of course. Am I like the only kid in the school that doesn't like him?
"Ummm? Hello?" I asked. The girl jumped, sending red hair from a bun to down.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Jake, you?" I snapped.
"Stella, daughter of Veronica, sister of Rose," she answered. Great, just what I could use, how many kids did Veronica have?
"Are you good?" I asked. She nodded and rolled her eyes, like it was the stupidest question ever.
"Then can you help me get their voices back?" I said nodding towards Lexi and Lilly. Stella nodded, and pulled a box out of a bookshelf. It had the moon symbol on it. She opened it, sending gold wind everywhere. It went into Lexi and Lilly's bodies, and they were instantly talking again.
"Thanks!" Lilly shouted.
"Yeah!" Lexi said, running over to Stella.
"Umm... Ahh!" Stella screamed, as Lexi practically tackled her. It was supposed to be a hug.
"Lexi, come on. Back to the-" I paused. I almost revealed Emma's hiding spot.
"Can I come?" Stella asked.
"No!" I shouted. Now they were all staring at me. "I mean, we kinda have three, already a crowd," I said. Stella looked upset now.
"Oh, I understand," she mumbled. And then disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"No!" Lexi shouted.
"She's evil!" I snapped.
"What now?" Lilly asked.
