When Misfortune Brings Some Love

Chap 2 - And It Continues

A week went by so fast. Today was the day when Rin and Shinya moved to their home. Ryuuta didn't say anything when they arrived. He still couldn't accept that his father would choose man instead of woman. His expression was flat when he welcomed their arrival.

"Show your smile a little, Ryuu-chan." His father told him in a whisper. He could only shake his head when he saw his son's behavior. "Ehm, Ryuu-chan... You'll share the room with Shinya. Please help him to move his things to your room."

"Ehhh???" Ryuuta's eyes widened in shock. "You never told me about this! No doubt that I feel strange about this because you never prepared any room after you said that they'll move to this house!" He said angrily.

"That's because you never asked me." His father said casually. "We also don't have any extra room for Shin-chan. So, please befriended with him, okay!?"

"But... Where will he sleep? I only have one bed!!!" Ryuuta quickly searched for other execuse.

"You can share your bed with him." His father said. "After all, your bed is big enough for both of you. It's queen size, isn't it?"

Ryuuta could not find any other reason. Whenever he was looking for a reason, his father could overturn his words. No wonder because the skills itself was derived from his father. Ryuuta half-heartedly helped Shinya to moved his luggage to his room which located in the second floor.

After Ryuuta helped Shinya to organize his stuffs, they went to the dining room because it was already the dinner time. During dinner, his father and Rin showed their intimacy, scooping some food into bowls to each other. Ryuuta couldn't stand to see the behavior of that middle-aged gay couple. He had to still sit in the dining room because he felt so hungry. Today his energy really had been depleted, and he knew he would need more energy to deal with other things later.

He stared at Shinya's face for a while. Ryuuta was wondering about what that person was thinking when he saw that idiot lovey-dovey couple in front of them. He was curious because he never saw Shinya changed his expression.

"Ehhhm... Ryuu-chan..." His father was suddenly starting a conversation. Ryuuta's father's words sent a chill down his spine. Lately, everytime his father began using the word 'Ryuu-chan' so sweetly before talking, nothing good came for him.

"What?" Ryuuta responded apathetically. He didn't move his eyes from his plate.

"Starting tomorrow, Shinya will be transfered into your school." His father told him.

Ryuuta was choked by his food. 'Another misfortune like what I've already predicted. How many more problems that will come to me? Is still not enough problem that already happened to me? Why you don't kill me then? What is my fault???' He thought, but he just kept his mouth closed. There was no use to say anything. He was too tired to argue about anything. He just said "Hn..." and continued his meal.

"You sleep on the right side. I'll sleep on the left side." Ryuuta said to Shinya when they returned back to their room after finished their dinner. "No snoring, no sneezing. I can't sleep with such disturbing sound near me." He said coldly.

"Oh, okay." Shinya replied. "But, may I ask you something before we sleep?" He asked when Ryuuta wanted to turn off the lamp.

Ryuuta's hand almost reached the switch, but he stopped suddenly and looked at Shinya face with frowning face. "What question?" He said curiously.

"Do you hate my father and me?" Shinya asked.

Ryuuta sighed. His expression become softer. "I don't hate both of you. All what makes me angry is my father and your father's crazy relationship. I can't believe this thing happened to me."

"So... you against homosexuality? Anyway, what we need in this world is some love, right?! No matter you're man or woman." Shinya explained.

Ryuuta sighed again. "What that you said maybe right, but I still can't accept it." He said. "We better go to sleep now,we need to wake up early. You'll start studying in our school right?! You'd better not come late." And then Ryuuta turned off the lamp.

In the midnight, Ryuuta was awaken from his sleep. He felt so thirsty and he went downstairs to take a glass of water for himself. When he was walking back to his room, he heard some noises came from his father's room. He felt curious and he decided to walk closer to that door.

"'Naoto... faster... harder.... ah.... hahh...." That sound came from that room. Ryuuta gasped and his face became red like a tomato. 'It must be Rin's voice....And they are...' Ryuuta wanted to interrupt that activities because he still against his dad's choice. When he wanted to touch the doorknob, a hand stopped him.

"Shinya!" Ryuuta was half-screaming and half-whispering. "What the hell are you doing?"

"I'm the one who should ask you! What are you doing?" Shinya replied with a stern voice. His hand was still holding Ryuuta's arm.

"What I'm doing here is to stop our fathers' crazy activities. It's obvious, right?!" Ryuuta frowned.

"No! Are you insane?" Shinya said in disbelief. "Let them be!"

"Ugh! Okay! I will let it off this time ." Ryuuta pouted. "But, remember... I will never agree with this crazy stuff."

Shinya released Ryuuta hand and the came back to their room without saying any word. 'But I'll make you do, Ryuu-chan...' Shinya thought and smirked secretly.
