‡ The Land of Light ‡

"There has to be another way around this thing." a person calls out in desperation, watching with tired, hopeful eyes as one dignified entity circled them.

"Perhaps, but that may be futile," the entity replies, "What happened years before was according to their predestined matter. But modifications were made after the event happened at night." she finishes.

"A slight ruckus can't possibly change the whole outcome!"

"No, you're wrong."

The entity points to a small circular table to their west, it was simple, and is made of birch. Polished and refined to sheer perfection, intricate designs were carved onto the wood, seeming as if made by the Goddesses themselves. What laid atop the table, however, was the gift for the eye. A splendid golden peony. The petals that came falling from it were turning silver, and are crumpled as it landed on the table.

"Although only a hologram, it shows the current state of that temporary being held in the mortal world," the entity informs.

"No.."

"Yes. A simple misfit can alter the future, this wasn't decided—nor was it fate. This is the result of one's ignorance."

It was the hours in the early morning when you are beginning to take your departure. You have your bags packed and ready, you would be staying at Hyrule for a week according to the Queen's orders given to you the day prior.

Shade was already standing by the door frame, waiting patiently.

You tapped his shoulder, indicating that you're about to go to the castle front. A second later, he was already walking by your side.

"You'll get me a souvenir, right?" He grins. You roll your eyes with a laugh, you can't imagine how a Lieutenant can act so care free.

"Count on it." You reply, chuckling as he fist pumped in the air with a loud cheer. Practically waking up the guards who were dozing off on duty, you snort, you really don't want to leave them with a scolding. You were a passionate yet strict and serious Captain, bidding them a goodbye is certainly necessary.

Amidst the still darkened firmament, a glimmer of (c) shone through before landing down on the massive courtyard in front of you. The enormous dragon.

It's eyes are a sharp colour of green, glowing, almost. And it has a tint of bright gold, a perfect mix, to be exact.

"Well, see you." you smile at the Lieutenant, who nodded at you and reciprocated the smile.

You climbed up the dragon, your bags already on it as you tied your hair into a ponytail. The journey to the land of light is going to be a long one, considering that you have to cross the border, as well.

Waving goodbye to your acquaintance and the other guards who were at your departure, you took off in the sky.

Now, you enjoyed being on a dragon; considering the superiority you felt throughout the flight. But yes, you would still like to have wings of your own. You wanted to be free from the clutch of fate, to fly independently on your own. You wanted to help the Flyers, the chosen knights of Primis to fly across the sky and use their magic to shroud the kingdom in twilight. They are the ones responsible for the upcoming light and darkness of the country. It seemed as if they are the sky themselves.
