Jade and Tori broke apart. "Sorry, mom." Jade said looking downward.

"Fine. At least it's not that crazy little redhead, but just don't be seen with her. People will talk."

"Um, I'm still with Beck."

They heard her click her tounge off her teeth. "Well, that boy is no good for you, but you'll come to your senses one day."

"But I love him." Jade said making Beck grin.

"Love doesn't last, dear. Get dressed. You're father is signing you out." Jade got up from the bed and Tori looked over at Beck. He closed his eyes and shook his head. Jade took out the iv and went to grab her clothes. "And Jadelynn?" Her mother called before she could close the bathroom door. "Let's try not to have any more of these scenes. I know you can't help it, but at least don't do it in public places. It is bad enough that you have to attend that mess of school, but to do that there is just far too much to gossip about."

"Yes mother." Jade said closing the door.

The women stood for a while glaring over at Beck, making both him and Tori feel extremely uncomfortable. Then her phone rang and they let out a breath of relief.

"Yes dear. Jadelynn is almost finished. We'll see you out in the car." Jade came out of the bathroom and her mother looked over. "Yes, she is still wearing that awful black attire." She moved her phone down. "Let's go. Your father is waiting." Then she brought her phone back up to her ear and walked out the door.

Beck stood up to say goodbye, but Jade just walked out the door.

"That woman is awful." Tori commented.

Beck nodded. "Yeah, so is her father. None of them really care." Beck's fist clenched at his side. "All Jade's family cares about is money and gossip, but they don't like when the gossip is about them."

"Doesn't she have a little brother?" Tori asked remembering a time Jade mentioned him once.

"Yeah, but he was sent to boarding school. There was talk about him and her parents didn't like it."

Tori frowned. "What kind of talk? They sent him away?"

Beck nodded and walked over. "Yeah, there was talk of him with another boy, and that was enough for them. They sent him to an all boys broading school, but not so he could be himself. They sent him to a religious one that would help him rid himself of the sin." He rolled his eyes. "He was beat up three times by other boys. And put in a solitude room when he was caught kissing another boy. I don't know if he's gay or not, he's confused, but he'll never figure it out there."

"And they did that just because people talked?"

Beck nodded. "Yeah, the West family hates talk."

Tori frowned. "How does Jade handle it? Her little brother being away?"

Beck sighed. "Not well. Everytime he gets beat up I have to stop her from jumping on a plane to England and kicking the bullies little asses."

"How old is her brother?"

"Twelve. I think he's just confused and he could work it out himself, but they want him to change so he fits in with their high society friends."

"That's awful."

Beck nodded then he walked to the door and Tori followed him out.
