Rumors Spread Fast

Jade was sitting by herself at a table outside. Tori saw and went to sit down with her. Jade's head was down so she didn't see her at first, but when Tori cleared her throat she looked up at her.

"Hey. How are you today?"

Jade bit her lip. "Not good. I'm waiting on Beck. I'm waiting. I'm not doing anything." She sighed.

Tori frowned. "Is there a reason you want to do that right now?"

Jade gulped then she pushed her phone towards Tori. "Just this."

Tori furrowed her eyebrows and took the phone. "What is this?" She scanned it with her eyes. "Why do you even have these horrible people in your phone?"

Jade shrugged. "Country club friends, well associates at least."

Tori sighed and put the phone down. She chanced placing her hand on Jade's hand. "Jade. Don't worry about them or what they say or what they think."

"I don't, but my parents do and when they find out there are more Jade West rumors going around they'll send me away like they did to Jace and then I won't see Beck anymore, or Cat, or any of my friends." She choked out.

"Jade... wait you're Jade and Jace?" Tori chuckled. Jade gave her a look. "Sorry. That's not important. Um, look, your friends, Beck especially, they love you and they would visit you wherever you got sent to."

Jade started crying. "I don't want to be sent anywhere. I wanna see Beck and you guys every day not just when you guys get the chance. I want to keep going to school here and go after my dreams. I don't want to be so messed up that rumors are always going around."

Tori had never seen Jade cry so much, she didn't even cry this much when she begged her to help her get Beck back, and she didn't know what to do. She sighed in relief when she saw Beck approaching them.

"What did you say now?" He glared at Tori. She understood that it would take a while for him to trust her with his Jade again.

She just slid Jade's phone over to him when he sat down beside Jade. "I didn't say anything."

He looked at the phone and his jaw clenched. "This is bullshit."

Jade sniffed. "I'm gonna get sent-"

"No." Beck cut her off. "You're not getting sent anywhere. You're gonna live with me in the RV whether our parents like it or not." He put his arm around her.

She rested her head on his shoulder. "They won't let me."

"I don't care. Tori, send those to Cat then delete them." He said, or more like commanded.

She nodded and took the phone.

Heard Jade West tried again. Why won't they just let that freak end it already.

Bet she got knocked up by that dirty boyfriend of hers and wanted to get rid of it. Doesn't that moron know you can just kill the baby. You don't have to die too

Eh I'd still do her if she would just dump that trash and date me

Tori gritted her teeth and sent a screenshot to Cat then she deleted the awful messages.
