Najenda POV
We had reports of violence from the empire's personal asylum for the criminally insane, it was a slaughter. I was walking through the halls with Akame looking elsewhere in the facility and Susanoo at my side in case of confrontation. As we walk I hear screaming from down the hall and as we ran it got louder and more painful. We look into the room and see a boy covered in some sort of armor made from silver blades, his hands were formed into metallic claws and only his eyes shown through the blades. When the blades retracted he had to be no more than 8-10 years of age. His straight jacket was torn to shreds and his skin was covered in scars, he was also covered head to toe in blood. He had a large stitch in the center if his chest.
"Who're you?" He said in a high pitched voice
"I am Najenda, leader of Night Raid" I answered
"That's a funny name, Na-Gen-Da" The child said with a cocked head
"How old are you anyway" I asked
"7!, why does everyone want to know?" He asked with a head tilt
"That's a bit young for the things you've done, isn't it?" I asked walking up to him
"GET AWAY FROM ME" He said in an almost demonic voice
"Are you scared little....Y/N" I said in a motherly voice, reading his name tag
"Not really, and how do you know my name?" He asked, blades starting to poke out from his forearms
"There's no need to attack, you can trust me" I said, ignoring his question
"TRUST you?, HA!, that's a laugh lefty!" He said, referring to my one good arm and enthusing the word 'trust'
"How so?" I asked him
"I 'trusted' these people, and now they're all dead!" He said like the demented child he was
"Well I'm not going to test on you or hurt you, however we can kill those who wrong others" I said, inviting him to our little operation
"We can be superheroes!, but I thought Night Raid was bad" He said cocking his head once more
"We are the good guys, you'll see" I said to him
Y/N POV
Was this woman really inviting me to be a superhero?, no, she was just like the doctor lady. I was thinking about it when I feel a a sword go through my chest, I look down to see a katana going through my breastbone, I look up to see the same girl from a few weeks ago at my house.
"Why did you stab me?" I ask the black haired girl
"You're supposed to be dead" He said in a monotone voice
"Too bad lady, WANNA PLAY" I said, that demonic voice taking over
I let my forearms form blades as I get up and slash at her, she dives out of the way and stabs me once more.
"Try again!" I said like I was playing tag
"That was through your heart, how're you not dead" She said with wide eyes
"I'm a superhero!" I said turning my blades into blunt objects
I hit her away into a wall then ran at her forming blades to replace my fingers, right when I get there I feel something go through my abdomen. I look behind me and see a man with horns and a red disk in his chest. I look down to see that my blood was like mercury, metallic and beading.
"Hello mister, why did you stab me with your staff-thingy?" I ask with a large grin spreading across my face
"How" was all he said before I hit him away
"You know I want to join you right?, why are trying to hurt me?" I ask the eyepatch lady
"You what?" Najenda said, obviously surprised
"As long as you don't wrong me too badly it's ok, I won't kill you guys" I said with a normal smile
"Well let's go" She said
The horn man walked to her side and the katana girl runs to me.
"Hello" I say, looking up at her with an innocent smile
"Why didn't you kill me" She asked with hands on my shoulders
"Because you didn't mean to stab me, you were scared right?" I ask still looking into her red eyes with my E/C ones
"In a way yes, I didn't want you to hurt my friends" Was all she said before walking away
"So where are we gonna go?" I ask the tall man
"We are going back to base" He said
"Ooh, we really are superheroes" I say while skipping down the bloodied halls
"Is he going to be ok without a tight leash" I heard the horned male ask
"As long as you don't wrong me we'll be ok" I turn and say
Timeskip because I'm lazy
I had to be carried by the man apparently named Susanoo. I woke up in the same piggy-back ride I fell asleep in but when I look ahead I see a base-like building in the side of a mountain. I look around and see that we're moving quite quickly for us just walking so I look behind me and realize that Susanoo is running to the base as opposed to the others walking.
"Why are we running mister?" I ask the horns
"You need a guide around the base and to meet the rest of the team" He said with a smile
"Yay!, more friends!" I shout while pointing forward "Onward to the base!"
"It's hard to believe that you killed all those people" He said looking at me
"Well that's because I was hurt by my mommy, then when the doctor lady came she also hurt me" I explained
"You were abused?" He asked with wide eyes
"Yup!, but it's ok now, my mommy and daddy are dead as of a few weeks ago!" I said with excitement
"We have arrived" He said looking ahead
We walk inside and I look around to see a pink lady, I mean that literally.
"Who the hell is this?" The pink lady asked Susanoo
"I'm Y/N!" I tell her with a smile
"Why is he covered in blood?" A green haired male asks
"I killed everyone who tested on and hurt me!, the whole asylum is bloodied!" I said with a grin stating to form
"Is he ok?" A big man with weird hair asks
"I'm ok, for now anyway" I said cheerfully
"Well let's show you around our base here" A smaller male with brown hair says
