As we walk down the barren dirt road I notice the others aren't catching up.
"Where're the others Icy Esdeath?" I cock my head to the side
"This is a duo mission, these rebels are among the strongest, we wouldn't want to lose anyone" She finishes with a nod, as if to self-confirm
"That's true, plus I have a few new tricks I wanna try out" I kick a dirt mound as we walk
"Good, it's always a good idea to evolve your abilities" She smirks, thinking of what has yet to come
"Oh it's nothing like that, I'm just bored so I came up with a few things" I look at an anthill to the side of the road
"Ahh, I see" She stops dead in her tracks
"They're fine, they've been following us since we exited the walls" I put my hands behind my head in a relaxing position
"You knew and didn't say anything!?" She shouts in my face
"Well they've always been quite far away so I saw no issues, but now that we noticed them I assume well have an issue" I inhale "Hey mister!!" I shout at the top of my lungs, not tearing them but still pretty loud. I feel something go around my neck and it gets pulled up, yanking my head off.
"Why'd you do that ma'am?" I ask once the threads connected and my head floats back to my neck "It hurt". I make a tentacle go into the ground from my foot then split off into 10. I let the bandits get close then I grab both of them with my silver tentacles.
"You have some explaining to do, or my fair lady will make you hurt" I wink at Esdeath
"Yes, I will" I see frosty mist form around her feet and legs
"W-we're ju-just a bunch of b-bandits!" The female stutters while her entire body is shaking
"I mean who sent you silly" I press a tentacle into her abdomen
"NOBLES!" She seems to yell at the top of her lungs "We were sent by nobles, don't ask who because we don't know" She sighs in relief when I drop her
"Fine then, let's kill them here" Ice Lady says
"Alrighty" I stab them both with my metallic tentacles, all of them "I went a bit overboard, sorry" I stare at the mutilated body's that used to harbor the mercenaries
"No no, this will make an example to whoever else may follow us" She glances one last time at the pile of organs and protruding ribs before we continue on.

We finally make it to a large village with a mansion in the middle, like a mini-empire.
"Awwww it's like a little tiny Empire!" I hold my hands to my face and close my eyes in adore
"It seems that way, doesn't it" She glances around the thatched buildings "Although it's quite a jump in quality housing" She nods to self-confirm
"True" I skip along the paved way, splashing in little puddles as I go
"You really are a child" I hear from behind me
"Well yeah, I haven't had the chance to mature because those doctor people kept stopping my growing process" I explain my situation to Blue and White Death
"I suppose that would do it" She shakes her head "Anyway, let's make ourselves known shall we?" She smirks devilishly
"Let's" I form spikes from the ground and armor myself as I rise on steel stilts "Hello villagers!, we've come for the rebels!!" I scream from atop my pillar
"That's one way to do it" I hear White Death say. As people come from their homes I make everything melt back down and I fall a good 2 stories to the ground. After I'm all healed up I stand by Esdeath and wait. I see a big guy walk out with a war hammer followed by a smaller one that has dual swords, this was going to be fun.
"Hey!, you guys!, over here!" I balance on one foot and wave my hands around to get their attention, it works.
"Hello young boy, I assume you're here to kill us right!?" He shouts back
"Yep!, who do you want!?" I yell back
"I'll take Esdeath!, you get Dante!" I look at the smaller one
"Sounds good, aaaaaaaaaaand KILL!!" I scream in Timothy's voice to end off. I look over to see Esdeath and Hammer Dude already fighting and I just stare at the dark skinned boy.
"Hey there, before we start do you have any wounds I can heal, to make it fair" I say walking up to him
"Why should I tell you, you'll probably kill me" He gets into a defense stance
"Oh come oooon, I want it to be fair you dolt" I let my arms sway back and forth as I bend over in annoyance
"You give your word?" He lets down a bit
"Yeah yeah, I give my word" I mockingly put my hand over my chest
"Fine then, and yes I have a cut on my arm" He shows a large cut on his arm, not too deep though
"Now this is gonna seem weird, just go along with it though" I tear off my hand and let my blood pour into his wound. It heals almost instantly and the my mercury-like blood seeps from his pores and creates a thread to reconnect my hand to my arm.
"All done, now I'm gonna go over there and we'll dash at each other ok?" I walk away
"Alright, I give you my thanks and admiration for being as fair as possible" He bows a bit
"Oh no need, I want you to last as long as possible as my plaything" I grin wide
Once I reach my spot I say the word and we run at each other. I form blades from my forearms and the back of my lags. When we meet in the middle I make a jab at his abdomen and he hits it away then hits be with the back side of his blade. When I don't stagger his eyes widen and I take this chance to kick in his knee, unfortunately he moved out of the way and only a crater is made in the dirt. I block his blade when he attempts to cut off my head. I push the blade out of his hands and kick it aside, he holds his hand out and it attracts back to him.
"I see, this is going to be fun!" I shout before using a tree as a launch pad to get to him, the tree obliterates when I push off. When I get to him he stabs my chest where my heart would be.
"Nice try mate" I smile wide before hitting him into a tree, also breaking that tree "But I'm stronger than you" I stab through the stump left while creating a large hole on his abdomen.
"Y-you win" He says before dying and dropping his blades, letting them roll away.
"You fought valiantly, rest peacefully Dante" I kick his head off and play with it for a bit.
"You good Esdeath!?" I ask the wind, no response "Helooooo" I lean out from behind a tree and see them still fighting. I push Dante's body to the side and watch the fight for about 3 minutes before Icy Death finally cuts off the mans head and his body falls.
"Yay we can go home now!" I yell and we walk away from the blood soaked earth, carrying the imperial arms as trophies.
