"The Anderson Foundation would be honored by your presence at the 25th Anual Gala to benefit The Children Foundation
Friday 13th/November

Great not this again I thought as I fold the invitation card and put it in my purse.
"Mommy what is that" Noel ask me as we entered the apartment
The Anderson Foundation is a organization that helps kid with cancer all around the world is a very well known organization and every year they have "The Anual Gala" to raise funds and every year I am invited, and very year I declined the invitation and this year will be no different.
"Oh its just and invitation to a party, nothing to worry your pretty little head with" I said to Noel as I bend and kiss his hair.
"Are you hungry? mommy can make you mac and cheese" I offered.
"Yes mommy! I am son hungryy I could eat a dinosaur" he said as he flopped down on the couch and turn the TV on.
I went to the room and take my jeans off and put on some comfy shorts and my pink crocs and then I head towards the kitchen to star making dinner.
"Mommy someone is at the door"
"Coming, just one sec" I yelled as I run to the door and opened it and saw a person I havent seen from a long time
" Hey Icky Vicky, looking good" Sam Carmichael answer as he let himself inside my apartment I closed the door my mind still in a haze
"Is that how you answer the door? wearing those clothes? Christian wouldnt like that" Sam said as he looked around the apartment, examinating every detail as if something has changed from the last time he was here 2 years ago
I choose to ignore his last comment and focus on why was he here
" What are you doing here?" I asked still confused on why he was here.
"Oh come on! Cant I visit my bestfriend wife?" as he said this he pulls me in a hug and spun me around in circles.
I giggled and hug him. Sam Carmichael, 28 CEO of one of the most famous marketing companies all around America and my husbands best friend.
"MOMMY!! I AM SO HUNGRYY" Noel screamed from the living room
"Oh and who do we have here?" Sam said as he plopped down on the couch next no Noel
"My name is Noel, whats yours?" Noel responded, his cartoons all forgotten as he talked to his new friend
"Noel baby this is Sam, he is a good friend of mine" I present them both as they both shake their hands
"Hi Noel, you look so much like your dad and thats scary" Sam said, and he was right Noel was the exact replica of Christian and I was happy about that he was my only consolation.
" You knew my daddy?" Noel says in awe
"Yeaah I do he is-was-my bestfriend" Sam replied, my eyes tear up a bit.. I missed him so much
I changed the subject and try hard not to cry.
"Soo... Sam would you like to stay for dinner? I was about to make mac and cheese?" I ask as I head over to the kitchen to prepare dinner
"Yeaah Its my favorite after all" He replied
"Awesome mine too!" Noel says
Meanwhile I was preparing dinner I could hear Sam and Noel talking, I couldnt hear what they were saying but I could hear their voices while they were chuckling
It was 10:30pm and Noel was already tucked and sleep in bed, Sam and I were still in the living room talking about old times,
"Soo how are you holding up?" Ask Sam while he sipped on his glass of wine
"You know same old good" The last thing I needed was for him to know that I havent got over his bestfriend.
"Umm for some reason I dont belive that" He said as he stands up and head towards the door
"But anyways, thank you for the food and the wine, but I have to get going"
"Okay, thank you for visiting" I said as I open the door for him to get out
"Ohh and one last thing..I hope to see on friday at the gala" He said as he get out of the front door
"Im not going so nooo" I said with a small smile
"You are going, believe me you dont want to miss it, see you there, i rephrase it..I better see you there" He winked at me.
I closed the door behind him and slid down the floor. In that moment I got a text from the same creepy number .what the hell?
"goodnight baby, kiss Noel for me, love you,see you soon -C"
