Chapter 2

Garroth walked back to the mentors area to see Teony, but talking to a familiar hot-pink haired girl. As soon as Garroth realized who it was he tried to turn around but-


"Gaeroth! There you are!" The girl said as she ran towards Garroth and giving him a tight hug, making Garroth uncomfortable.

"Ivy come on, I told you last year to leave me alone!" Garroth said as he pushed Ivy off of him. Ivy rolled her eyes as she put her hand on her hip. "Why are you here anyways? Get to class before you get in trouble."

"Oh Gaeroth, I guess you didn't notice!" Ivy showed Garroth her gold mentor band. Garroth's eyes widened as he looked at Teony.

"Didn't you say she wasn't volunteering to be a student mentor?!" Garroth spat, annoyed. Teony sighed as she walked closer to the two.

"As soon as I saw her here I talked to Principal Layla and she said that Ivy signed up AFTER we did. Sorry Garroth." Teony whispered the last part. Garroth sighed in response. That meant he had the entire period with Ivy around. They sat at a table with, of course, Ivy sitting next to Garroth.

"So Gaeroth-"

"Ivy I told you before," Garroth cut Ivy off. "It's Gar-roth."

"That's what I said!" Ivy yipped, making Garroth groan in response. "Anyways, what do you think about getting a girlfriend~?" Ivy asked while attempting to grab Garroth's hand.

"Ivy I don't want a girlfriend at the moment, thank you." Garroth pulled his hand away from Ivy's. As much as Garroth hated Ivy, he didn't have the heart to tell her that. Plus, Garroth had a secret that only Teony knew about.

"Come on! Why not give it a chance-" Ivy was cut off by the bell. She rolled her eyes as she groaned and walked off. "See ya at lunch Gaeroth!" She said before going down the hallways to her next class. Garroth sighed as he looked over to Teony, whom was looking down the hallway with a slight blush.

"Hello? Earth to Teony?" Garroth waved his hand in front of Teony's face. She shook her head as she snapped out of it and looked up at Garroth.

"O-Oh! Sorry, I-I was just-"

"You still have a crush on her huh~?" Garroth smirked. Teony's face blushed a bright red as she slightly punched Garroth's arm.

"S-Shut up Garroth!" Garroth laughed at Teony's embarrassment, but she knew he meant well. Teony rolled her eyes and sighed. "It's not easy having this sexuality..."

"Yeah I know, but the heart wants what the heart wants, right?" Garroth told her. Teony nodded her head.

"It's like having your heart pop out and just chasing after them." Teony joked, earning a small chuckle from Garroth. "In any case, we should be heading to class. See ya!" Teony said as she ran down the hallway and disappearing around the corner. Garroth pulled out his schedule and started walking off to his next class.

"Well, here's the art class." Garroth told himself before walking in. He sat in a seat that was near the back which made him sit next to a short raven-black-haired girl.

"Do I know you?" The girl asked. Garroth looked at the amber-eyed girl next to him, immediately recognizing her looks and her voice.
