Garroth ran out of the lunchroom and sighed.
"Why the hell did I say that?! Now she'll never leave me alone!!! She doesn't even know the truth about me..." Garroth leaned against a wall as he looked out to the field where the gym kids were. Something else ended up getting him thinking.
***
"I mean you do have the looks that people fall heads over heels for." Laurance told him. Garroth's face heated up at that while a little blush showed.
"Did h just call me good-looking... am I blushing? Ugh dammit I can't be blushing at that!" Garroth panicked a little on the inside at his current situation.

"Why did I blush at that...?" He thought out loud. "I mean, I get compliments like that all the time... but I hardly blush at them. Why did I with him...?" Garroth thought of something but shook his head. "No, I just met him."
"Hey Garroth!" Someone interrupted him. Garroth looked up at the person, it was Teony.
"Oh Teony! You're just the person I need right now!" Garroth said in a little bit of a panic.
"Whoa there Gar, chill out! What's the problem?" She questioned.
"Well... I has hanging out with Laurance and Ivy came around-"
"Of course..." She cut him off. "It's always Ivy, does she ever give up?"
"I don't think so... it's not like she even has an actual chance with me." Garroth spat.
"Yeah, speaking of that... why don't you ever tell her about that?" Garroth gave her a straight face.
"Cause I'm not gonna risk telling someone who I know can't be trusted, then the news gets to my dad, and only IRENE knows what he'll do about it!!!" Garroth replied, yelling a bit. Teony stared at him with wide eyes. He calmed down and sighed. "Sorry, I just don't want to make what I go through even worse." He said, his gaze went to a mark on his arm. Teony put her hand on Garroth's shoulder.
"It's alright, I can only imagine what you go through. I understand." She told him full-heartedly.
"Heh, at least your parents let you be... you." He lightly said. "Anyways back to the issue... Ivy called me her boyfriend and..." Silence filled the air. Teony thought for a moment then perked up.
"Garroth... don't tell me... did you... go on her side?!" Garroth weakly nodded.
"I-It was a slip-up! I didn't mean to call her my girlfriend! I don't know what got into me!" Garroth panicked a bit once more.
"Ugh... Garroth I swear to Irene. Look, you do realize that she's not gonna leave you alone right?"
"Yes I do... I'm just gonna try to avoid her." He growled under his breath a little.
"Mhm, try your best." Teony said, the bell rang right after. "Welp gotta go to class, see ya Garroth!"
"See ya!" He waved to Teony. He sighed and walked to his next class.

Soon it was sixth period, Gym. The coach was absent so there was a substitute. The substitute allowed free time for the day. Garroth went outside to the bleachers, waiting for Laurance. After about 5 minutes he was confused.
"Where is he...?" He questioned out loud. He looked around, but something from across the field caught his eye. Three figures were seen and ran across the field to the other side of the school. "What are they running from?" Curious, Garroth started walking to where he saw the figures come from. As he got closer, he started to hear groans, like groans of pain. "Who's there?" Garroth asked as he began to peer behind the bush. He saw Laurance leaning against a tree. He had one knee on the ground and was holding on of his arms.
