I created Overdrive a long time ago, when I a kid. His design was inspired from the movie Tron: Legacy and Iron Man. At first I wanted an armored suit. In my mind, the suit looked smooth, with no bumps or interlocking plates like Iron Man's. When I watched Tron: Legacy, the suit obtained it's black color, and the blue glowing lines. Later the suit became the alien.

The Tron: Legacy suits looked like this:

The suit was supposed to be completely smooth, and made from a resistant, and shiny black alloy, and it had the glowing blue lines, and the power to the suit came from the glowing circle in the middle of the chest

Back then he had a more cartoonish look, due to my poor artistic abilities. Here was Overdrive's old look:

Much later Overdrive became an alien after I watched too much Ben 10. He became a highly adaptable alien, capable of withstanding any attack.

When I joined Wattpad, Overdrive obtained a much more realistic look, and the blue glowing lines decreased, but he kept his black metallic shine and some blue lines. In the picture his hands are curled up into fists. And well... I am not good at drawing hands.

Much later, his new design came to be:

Where did the name come from?

The name came from a pair of gloves I had as a child. The gloves were made of black wool, with a few blue lines, further inspiring his colors. In the back of the gloves, the word Overdrive was written on the back. And that is were his name came from.
