Eight

(Annie)

It was after dark, and I got a message from under my pillow from Reiner.

Annie,

Come meet me by the woods after lights out. Come alone.

We need to talk. Now.

Reiner.

To be honest, the way he wrote the letter kinda scared me. It sound's like he was pissed when he wrote it. Let's just hope this would be just a talk.

When I reached the woods, I waited for Reiner. Then a rough hand covered my mouth, and an arm was wrapped around me.

"Shh." It was Reiner. "Come on." He held my hand tightly, and kinda dragged me the whole way to our location.

I would've walked, but Reiner going at a fast walking speed and him technically dragging me like a dog it was kinda hard to walk.

Reiner stopped walking, and let go of my hand.

"Reiner..." Before I could finish he slapped my left cheek.

I fell to the ground on my knees. Reiner grabbed me roughly, and spun me around so we were face to face.

"If I find you with him again....he's dead. Got it?" His voice was harsh. His eyes were dark, showing nothing but evil.

I was taking shaky breaths, and I slowly nodded. Reiner gave me one good glare.

Both of his hands were placed on my face. Tossing my head to side to side, he then pushed me onto my butt.

He walked passed me, his gaze still on me before he looked forward and walked out of my sight.

I held my cheek. It burned as hell. I felt tears prickle in my eyes. I blinked them away.

Reiner gone way too far. He would never threatened me like that. Especially since my father trusted him to watch me.

My father never trusted Reiner. Only Bertholdt. Until we were going to training. That was the one time my father actually trusted Reiner.

But now since Reiner slapped me, and threatened to kill the one I love. He did have something to do with that night Armin got....you know.

The puzzles, the way he's acting. It all came together, it all made sense now.

Reiner tried to kill Armin.

I felt Annie pull me behind the mess hall. So glad Mikasa didn't see us.

"Annie. What's wrong?" I asked. Annie looked at me.

"Eren, I have only a little bit of time before Reiner gets curious and founds out where I am." She said.

"Okay." I said.

"Reiner had something to do that night. I know he did. The way he's acting. The way he threatened me, last night-"

"Wait. He threatened you?" I asked.

"Eren." She hissed.

"Sorry." I said. Annie moved the bangs out of her face.

"Anyway. Reiner-" She stopped suddenly. I slowly found her gaze, and found Mikasa standing right there.

"No." She whispered. I thought she thought we were kissing or something. Then it wasn't that, until I heard her say: "He raped him. Reiner raped Armin."
