Eleven

(Annie)

I couldn't believe it. It was real. The whole thing was real. Opening the door, I blinked so fast I was afraid that the next time I blinked, he was gonna be sleeping again.

But when I took the courage to blink again, he was still awake. Smiling at me. His kind, warm, friendly smile.

His big blue eyes stared into my crystal blue ones. I wanted to break down into tears, and hold him with everything I had.

Armin he was awake. He came back... For me.

(Armin)

Annie ran over to me, and hugged me so tight, I thought she was gonna pop all of my bones.

"Hey." I said smiling still. Annie buried her face into my chest.

"You came back." She said.

"Of course I did. I couldn't leave anyone... Or you." I said. Annie looked at me, and gave me a kiss.

I kissed her back, and we were in deep kisses in seconds. I wrapped my arms around her neck, and she sat me up.

I felt tears slide down her face. She wrapped her arms around my small body, and pulled me closer. Causing a grunt to come out of my mouth.

We kissed for a few more moments, then I remembered what Reiner said to me that night.

'Let's make this lesson valuable.'

I broke away from her. Annie stared at me shocked at my actions. I was filled with fear again. Reiner did that, because I kissed Annie.

I was taking shaky, deep breaths. My arms were shaking, as I took my breaths. Annie just sat there. Probably trying to find her words. I was right.

"What was that for?" I blinked.

"R-Reiner." I stuttered. "He...you..." I couldn't speak. It was hard to. I had the words on my tongue, but I couldn't find the right way to say them.

"What, Armin? He's gone now, you don't need to worry anymore." She brushed her hand through my hair.

Her left soft hand touched my bare neck. Goosebumps rose to my skin, as her cold hand was placed on my neck.

"But....he..." Annie placed a finger on my lips.

"Sh." She whispered. I watched as she leaned in. "It's all okay." Her lips met mine again.

She was right. Why was I worrying about that night? Reiner was mad, that's all. He's gone now, and I don't have to be scared anymore. I can now live a normal life again, with my friends and my future lover.

I kissed her back, and we were now back into our deep kisses as before. The door swung open.

Annie and I broke away, before whoever came in could see us or anything. Who came in was Jean. He looked at us both, and scratched the back of his neck. He had that look on his face. I know that look. He saw us.

"I won't tell." He said, closing the door. He better not! Annie and I stood in our places. Not daring to kiss each other again.

Annie got up, and looked down at me.

"I'll see you later, Armin." She said quietly, before walking out. I watched her leave, and as the door closed softly behind her.

I was now lying back down, looking up at the ceiling. I blinked slowly, before slept met me again.

I turned to my right side, body now facing the door. Closing my eyes, sleep finally came back.
