7. Drummers Combine!

Alex's POV

"So Jack, where is this studio?" I asked him while he was eating his cereal.

"Interscope Records?" he asked, focusing on his cereal. I nodded, "Oh, Los Angeles."

"That far? Are we going back here?"

"I have no idea, we can come back if we have time."

Damn.

"Hey," Rian and Zack murmured.

"Hey," I greeted.

"So, what were you gonna tell us?" Zack asked.

"Oh, Interscope Records called us and said if they can sign us when we perform one song."

"WHAT?!" they said simultaneously.

"I told you guys would freak out," I snickered.

"What song do we play for them though?" Jack asked.

"Coffee Shop or Jasey Rae?" I suggested.

"Let's go with Coffee Shop," Rian said.

The two nodded.

"By the way, Rian, do you have a drum kit?" I asked.

"Uh, shit, I don't."

"What?!"

"Don't worry, I have a friend who is a drummer that lives here, I'll ask him if he can let me borrow it."

"Okay, good."

"Gotta go!" he rushed out.

"You're in pajamas, retard!" Jack yelled while Zack and I snickered.

"Oh yeah, wait," Rian came back and after a minute he's in pants with cologne sprayed all over him.

Rian's POV

As I went outside of the apartment, I texted my friend, Rob Chianelli,

This is pretty much the conversation:

RD: Hey duude! It's Rian.

RC: Hey.

RD: Listen Rob, can I borrow your drum kit for a while, we have to practice.

RC: Oh yeah, sure! Come here.

RD: Where's your house?

RC: Somewhere next to that bricked apartment.

RD: A house?

RC: a little house, white.

RD: I saw it, wait.

After that he didn't respond. I went to his house and knocked at it.

Some girl opened the door.

"Hey, um who are you?" she said.

"Uh a friend of Rob, I'm looking for Rob Chianelli," I replied.

"Okay sure, come here," she left me a space to get in.

"Thanks," I went inside and roamed around the house, "Nice place."

"Thanks," she smiled which made me smile back.

"Hey there you are, Rian," Rob said going outside.

"Where's the drum kit?" I asked.

"Oh wait, Tay, can you help with this?" he said to the girl.

Tay.. Somehow I managed I heard that name, but I forgot, oh well.

"Rob, how bout you ask Cam or Jordan or even Mike? Wake them up!" Tay said.

"How about you wake them up?" Rob said.

She sighed, "Fine, wait here." she went to the rooms and I heard she yelled and probably hit a pillow to one of the guys.

"WHAT THE FUCK TAY!!" a guy shouted sounding hurt while Tay snickered, it made me smile.

"She's cute," I told Rob.

"Yep, little Tay, sure she does."

"Rob, I was dreaming about girls and then you told Tay to wake us up, what the fuck--" a guy with kind of a long dark brown hair got out, scratching his head an glanced at me. "Who is this?"

"Cameron Hurley, that's Rian Dawson, I need you guys to help me borrow my drums and bring it to his apartment."

"Well sure okay, hi Rian." he waved and smiled, I waved back awkwardly.

"Come on, Jordan and Mike." Tay was pushing two guys who are actually still sleeping. Tay let go and those two guys fell down with their faces, thank God it was carpet.

I laughed, "You guys are funny as hell."

Tay giggled, "I know right, we do weird crap all the time."

Two guys stood up, "Hey Jordan, Mike, help me out." Rob said. They nodded, "Where's your house?"

"About there," I pointed it to the window.

"Let's go, here hold this guys, Tay stay here."

"Sure, Robby," she said and sat down and turned on the tv.

"Let's go then."

Alex's POV

Someone knocked on the door. "That must be Rian."

"I'll get it," Zack said rushing and opening the door. I saw Rian and some 4 dudes holding a bag, which are drums.

"Okay guys, here we are. Thanks Rob!"

"Don't mention it!" a guy with a white highlight (apparently Rob) waved and closed the door.

"So, let's get started!"
