4. Can't Let You Go To Waste

Alex's POV

I really wish that this plane ride won't end. I'm really in a comfortable position right now, not only my mind is comfortable but also my mind is. Now I completely forgot what happened in London since I met Tay. Tay and I have a lot in common, lead singers, loves Fall Out Boy, same music taste. But I'm really attracted to her right now, she's really beautiful. Then suddenly, someone destroyed my thoughts.. Lisa. We dated since we were in junior high school, then we broke up, and when I got an affair with this 24 year old girl, she ruined our relationship. I don't want Tay to be hurt, I want her, but I really cannot do this to her, I was a jerk to every woman I dated, because me ending up to fall in love with Lisa all over again! I blame myself, not Lisa because why do I have to go back to her if we kept on cheating with each other?

The plane landed in Poughkeepsie safely, and I got my bag from the top deck while Tay got hers. We walked together silently, no voice coming out fr om us. Until we got outside the airport, after falling in line with some weird international stuff.

"So um," I started while she turned to my gaze. "what brings you here?"

"Well," she said. "I came here to meet up with my band, you?"

"Uh, me too."

She didn't reply but she nodded and looked down to her feet. "So um, this is goodbye."

My eyes widened as the words from her mouth escape and I realized I was going to keep this "feelings" as my secret. "Yeah, bye Tay. It was really great seating with you."

She nodded, "Bye Alex." And she hailed a cab and I gave one last wave while she smiled and waved back and entered the cab. I sighed and the cab left me. I looked for another cab and one car was approaching me. It was a black sedan with tinted windows.

"Alex!" the windows went down and I saw Jack in the passenger seat.

I hope he didn't drink.

"Jack, please don't tell me you are drunk."

"What? You fucked a girl on the plane? Awesome, get in you dick."

I sighed heavily, and I was gonna die with Jack's drunk driving. I entered and Jack started accelerating fast an I didn't even closed the door yet.

"Jack! What the actual fuck?!"

"What?"

"Gimme the wheel!"

"I don't like, mom!"

"Give it to me you fucktard!"

"Nu-uh!"

"You're going to get us killed or arrested!"

"Fine!" he hit the brakes vicously, it made the car stopped.

"Now get out, let's change seats, and be sober." We changed seats and I started to drive to our apartment.

Tay's POV

"Kathleen!" I heard Jordan's familiar voice while I got out of the cab.

"Jordan, please don't call me that," I sighed and I rolled my bag to my house.

He chuckled, "Okay fine. Give me that, I'll help you." I handed him my bag as he grabbed it and rolled it inside.

"Welcome home, Tayson!" he removed his hands from my bag, and spread his arms.

I grinned, "I miss you so much, Jord. Where are the guys by the way?"

He pulled me into a hug, "They're coming over." while he pulled away and his eyes widened in shock, "Oh look! They're here!"

I turned around and saw Mike, Cam, and Rob exiting the cab outside.

"TAY!!" they shouted simultaneously.

"GUYS!!" I shouted back while I got pulled into a group hug.

"We miss you so much!" Mike said.

"Me too, of course."

Alex's POV

"Welcome to New York, Alex!" Jack shouted cheerfully.

I smiled, "Wow, you already bought a room?"

"Yup, I decided to surprise you," he said. "do you like it?"

"Well - we need to put up some pictures of babes with huge tits here." Jack glanced up to me and his smiled turned bigger and his eyes widened. He look liked a creep.

"Let's fucking do it, oh yeah!" Jack's fist went up to the air. "How 'bout you rest first?"

"Can't believe you're already sober that fast," I said while we took a seat. "Well, I met this girl."

"Really? Does she have huge tits? Did you fuck her? Is she 20 years old? Is she white? Is she hot? Is she--"

"Jack. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Please."

"Fine. I'm serious now."

"Okay, so.. Her name is Tay Jardine. She's a lead singer of the band, The In Crowd. She likes Fall Out Boy, she's awesome. We both have the same favorite song. She's so beautiful, she also has dimples and I think I like her and I didn't get her number. Ugh."

"Damn, why didn't you?!" Jack said. "boy, I bet you two are a good couple. But Alex, crap.. That sucks."

"Why? Why?" I whined.

Jack snickered, "Well it was your fault you didn't get her number!"

"You're right. I want to go back in time!"

"But you can't."

"But it's possible."

"Hmm.. Touché."

"What will I do?"

"Well, don't ask me! I asked the number of a variety of girls."

"I can't just roam around Poughkeepsie just to find her!"

"Well, I have an idea. Wait when we're famous like other bands do and you can make her band famous too by representing them and stuff," Jack suggested. I thought at first it was a bad idea. I'm gonna wait until we get famous, that easy? But how will I communicate her? By Twitter? Oh yes, by Twitter!

"Okay, let's do it then," I muttered without satisfaction in my voice.

Tay's POV

"So Tay, how was the trip?" Jordan asked. "Did you meet someone new?"

"Uh yeah, I met this guy.."

"You met a guy?!" Cam, Mike and Rob asked simultaneously with astonished faces and voices while Jordan didn't bother saying anything, he just stayed silent.

"Tay's growing up guys," Rob said.

"She'll lose her virginity!" Cam said and laughed by himself.

"Who is he?" Mike asked.

I bit my lip and breathed, "He is Alex Gaskarth. He is a lead singer and a guitarist of All Time Low, we both like Fall Out Boy and we have the same favorite song. He's so cool, and yeah.. He's attractive and he has dimples."

"Did he asked for your number?"

Then I realized why didn't I give it to him, "Uh no."

"Oh, it sounds like you'll make a great couple."

I blushed when I heard of that, I managed to hide my face from the guys.

And I blame myself for not giving him my number. I think I like this guy and I want to see him again, now. I never actually liked a guy, because I think guys suck. Except for my band members, I love them, we're like a family, they're like my brothers they take care of me like I'm their little sister.
