EDDIE - TRASHMOUTH PT 6

"You have to ask her out" Ben said excitedly
"I do?" Eddie replied
"Yeah" Beverly explained "thats how it works"
"How what works?"
She sighed "you have a lot to learn kid"

"Just go up to her, and tell her how you feel" Ben said, nudging Eddie towards your front door
"Comeon Eds" Beverly pushed him up the stairs and rung the doorbell
Eddie turned around and glared at her, his face red "i'm going to kill you" he mouthed. Ben and Beverly smiled and gave him a thumbs up before hiding behind a shrub (I live for their friendship tbh). You opened the door and smiled when you saw Eddie "hey" you grinned
"Hey.." he said shyly "um.." he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly
"So...um..." he bit at his lip
"Hey i'm sorry if the kiss made you feel weird" you spoke up
"What? no I liked it!" He replied
"Oh- good" you sighed in relief
"I...kind of..." he sighed, summoning up the courage to say "I want to kiss you again"
You smiled, stepping out onto your porch so your brother wouldn't see you. He leaned down since you where slightly shorter and kissed you awkwardly, with a bit of force. You smiled against his lips and wrapped your arms around his neck. He pulled away and let out a small excited giggle, he couldn't help it, he was too happy. He leaned back down to kiss you again, and you accepted it. You slowly closed your eyes and then suddenly Ben and Beverly popped out of the bush
"Woooo! Go Eddie!" Ben cheered
"Get some!" Beverly added
He broke away, his face red "shut up!" He snapped, making them laugh at how embarrassed he was
"Goddamn it" he sighed, turning back to you "y/n..?"
"Yeah?"
"Will you go out with me?" He asked nervously
"Of course I will"

You had to keep the date a secret from your brother, who would flip his shit if he found out you liked "wheezy". He loved you, but he was too much sometimes. He could be overly protective. So you said you where hanging out with Beverly tonight. You heard a knock on your door and smiled, knowing it was Eddie. But your smile faded as Richie made his way to the door, you practically sprinted over to him
"I-I'll get it!" You yelled, pushing him out of the way
"Jesus woman!" Richie huffed. You sighed and slipped out the door, smiling at Eddie
"Hey" you said
"Hey.." he smiled in return "i'm guessing your brother doesn't know..?"
"Not yet" you laughed "sorry about that"
"Its ok, he'd probably freak out anyway" he said, taking your hand shyly. He was so sweet
"I'm sorry...I've never really been on a date before...I mean- no girls ever liked me so, I didn't know what to get you" he blushed as you guys walked down the street
"You didn't have to get me anything" you said, pecking his cheek to make him feel a bit better.

"So no girls ever liked you?"
"No" Eddie laughed, you guys sat together in a small diner, he sat across from you looking nervous as heck. You where slightly nervous too, since he was one of the sweetest boys you've ever liked.
"The last girl I liked.." he trailed off  "she hated my guts" he laughed
"I don't see how anyone could hate you, you're so sweet" you said, holding his hand from across the table. He got a bit flustered at that comment and blushed while smiling sheepishly
"I-i'm really not"
"You are...and you're cute too" you added "I can't believe you've never had a girlfriend" you said, honestly in disbelief that no one had wanted to date this cutie. He laughed "I'm not cute"
"You are"
"You're cute..." he mumbled, making nervous eye contact. You smiled at him, and he smiled back.

(Short, kinda weird chapter? I just wanted to get past the first date and shit, and then the plot will get better I SWEAR. Also in case you didn't know Eddie and the reader are both 16 or older, since there will be a bit of sin in this series)
