"Fuck" you mumbled as you bumped into someone from behind "i'm sor— Eddie?"
The brown haired boy looked at you in surprised "oh...hey.." he said, nervously playing with the hem of his shirt
"Hey" you smiled "what are you doing here?" You asked, leaning against the outside wall of the drugstore
"I'm just he-here to pick up my medication" he said in between puffs of his aspirator. You nodded and opened the door, he followed you inside. He nervously glanced at you "so what are you doing here..?"
"Richie's sick" you said "I had to get him some medicine"
"Of course he's sick" Eddie mumbled "probably from splashing around in all that greywater"
You laughed, making him look away.
"Oh my god- her laugh is so cute" he thought, covering his face "god help me"

"You know— I probably shouldn't be talking to you" Eddie said as you guys walked down the sidewalk together. You glanced over at him
"Because of my brother?" You asked, as if you already knew
"Yeah" he glanced up at you
"Just ignore him" you said "he's an idiot"
He laughed, grinning a little and looking away
"You're nice to talk too anyway" You said, looking at the cute boy beside you
"I am?" He looked back at you with a surprised expression
"Yeah" you said, laughing a little at how adorable he was. Wow he really was cute...You thought to yourself, handsome even. He smiled at you, and you smiled back. His cheeks turned a bright crimson color and he coughed awkwardly
"You ok?"
"Yeah your smile is just so pretty" he blurted out, taking a puff from his aspirator
"You really think so?" You asked "i've always hated it"
He looked back at you, confused "how could you hate something that pretty?" He thought to himself "wha- why?" He asked
"I don't know, I just never liked it. It wasn't like all the other girls smiles. It was just ugly"
"I don't think its ugly!" He said, a bit more enthusiastic then he meant too. You smiled, looking down "thanks...for the record" you looked back up at him "your smile is pretty cute too" you approached your house and turned, facing him
"You should smile more often"
