Chapter 4

KALEB POV

Coach Eckley was in the middle of his 'welcome to another year of prison' speech until there was a knock on the door.

"Kaleb," he called, "can you get the door please?"

"Whatever," I responded.

To my surprise, I saw four tardy students!

Three of which I despise, and one that I've never seen before.

I'd tap that ass!

"Coco, Jade and Aaron, why are you late," he asked, then he looked towards the girl and said, "oh, uh, hi there! What's your name?"

"Carrie Viera... sir," she uttered, poor thing must be frightened. I like em' like that.

"Well Carr-" he started but was interrupted by the stupid-ass of the class.

"Carrie, welcome to insanity!!" Daniel yelled.

"Daniel," coach said, obviously annoyed, "do that again and you'll go to the office."

"Sir, yes sir!"

Dumbass.

I thought to myself.

"Okay," he continued, "anyways, all of you can sit... here." He pointed to the table in the center of the classroom.

As they walked by, they all seemed different.

And they had a horrid smell!

Like... A wet dog mixed with rotting corpses...

Ugh, they need a shower! They probably haven't token one in a hundred years!

Wait...

Damn...

Could it be?

No...

They're like me?

A hybrid?

No...

Not possible.

I thought I was the only one alive.

Thinking of being a freak for so long and finally having someone the same as me brings a small smile to my face.

Damn, why am I acting like a chick right now?

Cause the hunters killed your family and basically everyone you cared for.

And besides that, Abstract is still hunting you down.

My brain argued.

It's true.

Hunters were after us.

They will stop at nothing to have all of us killed and gain their power.

Dammit, but I can't risk having this secret exposed if I'm wrong...

I could always compel them, I guess...

Screw it.

I'll take my chances!

DANIEL POV

Murder.

Death.

Sex.

My all time favorite words.

Sometimes I can't help myself from doing this...

Don't get me wrong, I don't kill innocent people, I kill the hunters.

Those who killed my sister...

Those who betrayed me.

They told me to help them and they'll cure my sister from a mermaid scratch...

I obeyed but they killed her instead, and I'm now living with that regret.

And I'll live with that forever...

I'm the dumbest vampire that has walked on this planet!

I'll get my revenge...

**FLASHBACK**

"Okay," I panted, "I've done everything... cure her now! PLEASE!"

I was grieving, she had few minutes of life left in her...

"No," Abstract snarled, "it was a lie... I won't dare to cure a creature like this..."

"What?!" I yelled, "No! Save her! Please! She's all I have left!"

"Say goodbye,"

And he chopped her head off those moments, and disappeared into darkness.

**FLASHBACK ENDED**

I'll kill him.

Him and all of his descendants.

He will die.

This time, he'll say goodbye.
