Chapter 5
"So right now just get to know each other," Coach Eckley finally finished,
"any questions, no? Okay then, socialize or do whatever the hell you want amongst yourselves."
I was at the table Coach assigned me to, there was six seats and four of us were there.
You can already guess who those other three were.
Ding, ding, ding!
You guessed it!
Jade, Aaron and... uh... crap...
"Wait..." I started saying to the girl, "what's your name again?"
"Carrie," she responded.
"Carrie, Carrie, Carrie, Carrie, Carrie. Your name is Carrie," I was repeating so that I can remember her name.
Everyone else started chuckling.
"What?" I asked them all, "don't you dare judge me, I'm human y'know?"
Crap.
I shouldn't of said that. What if they suspect?
Dammit.
Holy crap what did I do?!
"Are you okay?" Jade spoke I nodded, "you look like you've been hit by a bus and crapped by a donkey on your face and color went out of it cause of the bus, and color got in cause of the crap."
Aaron and Carrie began to laugh while I thought of that comparison for a while...
"That is the worst comparison I've ever heard of," I chuckled, "it makes absolutely no sense! A bus hits me and a donkey takes a deuce on me?! Where the hell does the donkey come out of?!"
"Your moms' ass," I heard someone say.
He has a familiar voice...
I turned to see the human I would kill, chop into little pieces, put him in a plastic bag with a brick in it and have it sink to the bottom of a lake.
Too much?
No.
I despise him that much.
"Who the hell invited your ass, Kaleb?" I snarled.
"No need to be rude, Coco." he said, with his hands against his heart, pretending to be hurt.
"I'm not being rude, you're just insignificant. Now run along and play party cake with your imaginary friends, that is, if they didn't abandon you either."
"Fine, but not until I get this ones number," looking at Carrie as if he were starving, and she was a nice hot plate of food.
"Um, if I throw a stick will you leave?"
Everyone at the table wide eyed at Carrie, well then, I can tell I'm gonna live her forever.
See what I did there?
No?
Oh okay.
"Whatever, there's too many freaks here anyway, but not enough circuses." Kaleb said and Walked off.
"Yeah, keep walking you reject!" I blurted out.
"Damn Carrie, who knew you had it in you," Jade said with a "dayummm" tone, "not many people stand up to Kaleb. He's... well, different."
All of a sudden he just came to mind.
I used we used to be best friends for two years but, something happened...
"What do you think, CeCe?" Jade asked me, "or were you in Lala-Land?"
"What? Oh, yeah, totally, I think it's a great idea!"
Nailed it.
"I didn't ask anything, dip-shit," she stated, "I was testing if you were actually paying attention."
Oops.
I could feel myself getting chili pepper red...
"I knew that..." I said, forcing a chuckle.
"Yeah, whatever."
