The walls were high,
She could barely see.
She walked faster
As she tried to escape.
A shadow followed her,
Silent steps on the ground.
She wanted to be safe,
To feel happiness again.
But instead she ran
Around dark corners.
Chased by her thoughts
Inside the maze of her mind.
