isn't it curious
how fast time flies by
and leaves us wondering
when those precious moments
and favourite memories
turned into pure heartbreak
into sentimental tears
and lingering nostalgia.
isn't it confusing
how quick we became estranged
and now have to ask ourselves
when uncontrollable laughter
and mutual trust
turned into infinite sadness
into painful silence
and wanted change.
