chapter 2

KAREN'S  POV 

When I woke up I checked the time and it was 6:30 we get to north carolina at 7:00. I didn't really know what i was going to do so i was just listening to music and checking my social media apps. when I was finished with that i went to the bathroom, but the flight attendant told me to go please sit down in my seat because we will be landing soon. So i walked over to my seat and put on my seatbelt. I have to admit i was kind of scared when we were landing but it went quick. When we landed i got my backpack and was standing in line to get off the plane. about 3 minutes later, i was off the plane and in the airport. i texted my mom saying that i just landed and that i'm going to be out there soon. she responded " okay honey can't wait to see you!" i just smiled and started looking for my suitcases.

when I found both of them i went out this 2 doors and there were a bunch of people staring at me but looking for other people. i turned right and started walking and looking for my Mom. when i found her i dropped my suitcases and went to give her the biggest hug ever.

" oh my gosh Mom it's been forever!" I said while letting her go.

" I know honey I missed you so much. have you gotten taller?" my Mom asked while grabbing my 2 suitcases.

" probably!" I said while walking out of the airport and into the airport parking lot.

" where is your car Mom?" I asked while walking thru the parking lots.

" oh sorry. it's right over there it's the black range rover." said my Mom while pointing at this beautiful black Range Rover.

" woah. when did you get this?!" I asked my Mom while staring at her.

" a long time ago." said my Mom while opening the back of the car.

" I knew you were going to like this car anyways because since you were little!" said my Mom while closing the back of the car.

" yeah I know, i always wanted this car!" I said while staring at my Mom surprisingly.

" well get in honey, because it's getting chilly out here, and can you stop staring at me like i'm crazy!" said my Mom while entering the car.

" sorry Mom i'm just so happy to see you!" I said while entering the car.

when we got in the car we started driving when my Mom asked

" are you hungry?" she said while staring at me

" yeah, i'm starving!" I said while changing the radio station.

" wanna go to chipotle?" asked my Mom while driving.

" yes please!" I said while looking at my phone.

we got to chipotle in like 15 minutes. when we got their i got out of the car and walked in to chipotle. we were in line but thank the lord the line wasn't that long because i was starving. while we were in line, my Mom got a call from some girl name Elizabeth. my Mom was talking to Elizabeth and she hung up after.

"who's Elizabeth" I asked while standing in line.

" my boss, she knows your in town and she invited us over for dinner tomorrow, even though we live a block away from Elizabeth." said while my Mom while turning off her phone.

" okay sounds fun! does she have kids?" I asked while moving up a little in the line.

" yeah, she has a 3 sons and 1 daughter, one of them are 22 which is will, the other one is Nash who is 20, and the other one is hayes who is your age 17, and the girl which is skylnn she is 5 years old." said my Mom while staring at me.

" oh cool!" I said before ordering what i want.

when we ordered what we want we went to go sit down and eat our food. we finished in about 20 minutes and we left because it was getting late and i had to go home and unpack. we got home in 15 minutes. we pulled up in a big house i guess you can say that. I stepped out of the car and waited for my mom.

" do you need help with my suitcases?" I asked my mom while walking over to the end of the car.

" nope its fine honey!" said my Mom while closing the back of the car.

we walked and it was big inside.

" okay honey your room is the last room over at the end of the hallway. if you get confused with the guest rooms just look for the pink and turquoise room!" said my Mom while putting the car keys on the kitchen counter.

" okay thanks Mom!" i said while walking up the stairs.I walked down the hallway and saw my new room door open. my room was huge, i mean huge. my bed was big, i had a TV and I had my own bathroom I was so excited!

" here are your suitcases honey start unpacking because tomorrow is a big day!" said my Mom while entering my room.

" thanks Mom so much for everything! I love you!  i couldn't ask for anything better then this!" i said while hugging my Mom. when she left I decided to call my dad.

we talked for a while and when we finished talking i started unpacking which i did pretty quickly. when I finished I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth changed into my pj's and went off to sleep.
