chapter 3

KAREN'S POV

I woke up to the sunlight that was shining threw my windows. When I got my phone i checked the time and it was 1:30 a.m. I was going thru my social media apps first I went thru instagram then I went thru twitter. I got out of bed after 20 minutes and I started doing my bed and i opened my shades. When I was finished doing my bed I got my phone and plugged it in my Ihome speaker and I put on my music and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I got out of shower in about 15 minutes and I got my towel and wrapped it around my body. I stepped on the cold floor and I was in front of my mirror and my sink. When I was brushing my teeth my favorite song was on Paranoid, I was dancing around, when I was done dancing around I spit out all the tooth paste in my mouth and I started to was my face with my morning burst by clean and clear. When I finished with all that i went to grab my phone and I had a text from my mom.

Mommy💕: Hey honey! don't forget that we are having dinner at elizabeth's house today, i'll be home around 3:30 and we will be going to dinner around 5:30.

Me: okay mom! i'll wait for you at home. I responded to my mom.

When I was finished I went tot my closet to pick out my outfit. The weather looked pretty nice outside so I picked my high wasted shorts with my white california crop top and my hot pink bandeau. When I finished getting dressed I brushed my long brunette hair and I started to blow dry my hair, today I felt like curling my hair. It took me like an hour to do my hair. when i was finished I took my hot pink bow and put in my hair.When I was finished I started doing my makeup, I did my normal routine which is eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner. When I was done I walked down stairs to get a bottle of water and I sat down on the couch to watch some tv, there was nothing on tv so I decided to sign in on netflix. I was going to watch my favorite tv at the time which was 90210. I was on season 4 and I decided to just watch one episode and after that I will go penny boarding around the neighborhood.

When the I was finished watching 90210, I walked over to the garage door and I was looking for my hot pink penny board.When I  found it I closed the garage door and walked over to the entrance doors and i closed the doors and zoomed down the street, when I got to the bottom I turned left and I zoomed down the other street, when I turned right I saw a cute boy my age playing basketball outside in his front yard. I didn't really mind stopping to introduce myself so I just kept going. when I passed his house i could see at the corner of my eyes hat he was glaring at me.

When I got to the top of that street or hill i turned left and i could see my mom's house or my house now, and I went down my street and I stopped at my house, I went directly to the porch and just sat down and I started thinking, that there is a hot guy that i live near and that is practically my neighbor, he lives around the block from me. When I was thinking my mom pulls up in the driveway. She gets out of the car.

" hey honey, I thought you were hungry so I brought you a salad." said my mom while bring out a brown bag and a pink lemonade.

" thanks mom!" I said while standing up from the chair and giving her a hug.

when we were down hugging we walked inside and sat at the kitchen counter.

"so how was your day? what did you do?" asked my mom while opening the lid to her salad.

" nothing I woke up took a shower, did my hair and makeup, got dressed, watched tv for a little and then I went to penny for a little." I said while eating my salad. " what about you?" i asked my mom while sipping a little from my lemonade.

" oh nothing, I was just at the office and yeah I worked thats pretty much it." said my mom while staring at her salad.

"when your finished with your salad you have to get ready to go over to elizabeth's house for dinner." said my mom while throwing away her salad.

" yes I know mom, but it is only 3:45." I said while looking thru my phone.

" yeah I know but the dinner is at 5:30 and I'm just saying to get ready soon." said my mom while washing up some dishes.

" do you want anymore of your salad karen?" asked my mom while staring at me.

" no thanks." I said while walking over to the stairs to go up to my room.

when I got to my room i pugged in my phone to my speaker and I played some music. I guess that I'm just going to get ready. So, I decided that i was going to wear a turquoise skater dress and my cream wedges. When i was finished picking out my outfit I hopped into the shower. I put my hair in a pony tail so I wouldn't ruin my hair. I washed my body and i hopped out of the shower cause I didn't want to take that long. I got my towel and wrapped it around my cold body and I walked into my room. When my body was dried I started to get dress. It took me about 3 minutes to get dress, and I was off to my hair/ makeup station.

First, I decided to do my makeup which was just the normal routine eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner, After that I just curled the bottom of my hair since it was already curled at the bottom I just did it once or twice so it can look more casual, i got a blue bow and I pined it to my hair.

I got my phone, and my disposable charger just incase my phone died, and I got my light brown pocket book to put my accessories in it. when I was finished with that I put some of my perfume on and I headed downstairs. I guess my mom was ready because she was downstairs in front of the tv watching the news. when I got to the last step I walked into the living room and my mom looked up and down of my body and said \:

" honey you look gorgeous, are you ready to go?" asked my mom while staring at me. 

" thanks mom. and yeah I'm ready!" I said while staring back at her. 

" okay then lets go." said my mom while jumping out of her sit. she grabbed her purse and her keys and we walked out of the entrance door.

we were outside she locked the door and we hopped into the car. When we got into the car we zoomed off while listening to music. I thought that we were going to be there in 30 minutes or so, but I thought wrong it was around the block. When we got to the house it was the same size my house, we parked in the driveway and walked over the the entrance  doors.

My mom rang the door bell while I was next to her. When someone opened the door I looked up and it was the hot guy I saw earlier. I was so surprised.

" oh hey Hayes!" said my mom

" hey Lauren!" said the cute guy which I think his name is Hayes.

" this is my daughter Karen!" said my mom while putting her arm on my shoulder.

" hey Karen" said Hayes with the cutest smirk ever.

" hey!" I said while staring into his blue ocean eyes.

" come in Lauren my mom is in the kitchen." said Hayes while opening the door wider.

When we walked in I knew this was going to be an interesting night.
