chapter 6

HAYES POV 

When the movie was over karen fell asleep. On my shoulder. I didn't know what to do so I slowly stood up and put a pillow under Karen's head. I got the blanket and put it over her, when I was finished with that i slowly walked over to the stairs and I turned off the lights and I started to walk up the stairs when I heard someone mumbling.

" Hayes is that you?" A voice that I knew by heart, it was Karen.

" yeah whats up?" I said while walking downstairs and turning on the lights again.

" Nothing i'm just tired." Said Karen while putting her arm over her eyes because of the light it was to bright for her.

" Okay well we were watching a movie and you fell asleep on my shoulder so I was about to go home  but then you woke up." I said while looking at her.

" Hayes can I ask you to do me a huge favor." Said Karen while looking at me through one eye.

" Sure anything." I said while looking at her.

" I know this will sound weird but I don't want it to sound weird, but can you pick me up and take me to my room upstairs, I know it's a huge favor, but please.

I giggled because she thought it was a big deal.

" Karen it's not that much of a big deal, I would love to take you to your room." I said while blushing a little bit because she's so cute when she's tired.

" thanks Hayes." Said Karen while looking at me.

I picked her up bridal style and we walked upstairs and we went to her room. When we got their I turned on the lights and put her on the bed, she toked in her blankets and she directly passed out. I watched her and giggled. Right after that I turned off the lights and closed her door and I headed directly to the stairs. When I was at the end of the stairs I was that Karen's mom was in the living room so I said goodnight and I walked out of the house and crossed their yard and I ended up on my street and I walked up the street and I got to my house.

When I got there I took off my shoes and I went to my room. I went into the bathroom brushed my teeth and came out of the bathroom, I changed into a pair of basketball shorts and a muscle tee. I turned off the lights, and went to my bed, I was on my phone for a little checking my social media apps. I went on twitter and tweeted:

" Goodnight" 

I texted Karen saying " goodnight gorgeous." I know we weren't dating but I really liked her and I'm going to show her that I like her. 

* NEXT MORNING* 

KAREN'S POV 

I woke up to the sunlight entering my room. I guess I forgot to close my curtains, and I also forgot to changed into my pj's. Wait I remembered that Hayes brought me into my room, thats why I forgot to do all these stuff before going to sleep. I grabbed my phone and checked it I had 2 text messages. and many notifications. First, I checked instagram, after that I checked twitter, after that I checked my snapchat and after that I checked my text messages. I had one from my mom and one from Hayes.

from my mom she said that she might be coming home late today, and that she left money for me on the kitchen counter.

After that I to see that hayes texted me saying goodnight gorgeous, when I read that a chills went down my spinal cord. Does he like me? Does he also have feelings for me as I have feelings for him? NO Karen thats to fast he can't possibly have feelings for me. all these questions were going thru my head and I didn't know what to do.

I got up from bed and did my bed, after that I lit up my candle and opened up my curtains, after that I plugged in my phone to my speaker and put on a playlist on spotify. I walked in my bathroom and decided to take a shower actually a bath, so I got some candles and surrounded my bathroom with them I lit them on and turned on the water while I was letting the water on I started to get undressed, when i was down with that I put in some soap so I could have some bubbles, I mean whats a bath without bubbles?

After the 30 minutes or so of relaxing in my bathtub I decided to get out so I picked up my towel and wrapped it around my dripping body, I got and starred at myself in the mirror, after with ll that I brushed my teeth I walked out and starring singing to my favorite playlist music, I was on my phone for a little and I decided to text Hayes.

Hayes: good morning sleepy head :)  

After I was finished with that I decided to get dress, So I got my bra and undies and put that on and I picked out a pair of pink plan shorts and a black Pennie that used to be from my old school it was pretty cute it was black and it had the name of my old school in pink it wad cute and it was more of a muscle tee which is even more adorable. after that I brushed out my hair and I didn't feel like doing any heat on it so I just brushed it out and it was wavy so it was cute I guess. I put on mascara and curled my eyelashes and thats it. after that I got up from my chair and I heard my phone ring. I walked  over to my phone and it was a text from Hayes. I put my password in and he replied 

" good morning sunshinee ;)" when I read that my mind went blank for a little and I started to blush. I facetimed Hayes and he directly answered.

" Hey Karen!" siad Hayes with the most adorable dimples ever.

" Hey sleepy head, and I thought I was your sunshine.." I said while putting on a sad face.

" Your are my sunshine, and the sleepy head here is you, I had to carry to your room last night.. cause you feel asleep again as always.." Said Hayes while smiling at me.

" I'm sorry I feel asleep and thank you so much for taking me to my room i appreciate it." I said with a serious face on and Hayes started to laugh at me. 

" so anyways do you want to go watch a movie with me today?" Said Hayes while looking at me. 

" Is Hayes Grier asking me out on a date?" I said looking back at him 

" i actually am and I'm not kidding like a real date." Hayes said while looking at me. 

" sure I would love to and I mean it. " I said in the serious face again.

" okay I think we should watch the fault in our stars and it begins at 5:30 p.m if thats okay with you?"  Said Hayes while staring at me. 

" yeah thats fine and I promise you I won't fall asleep because I have been dying to see this movie." I said while over reacting. 

" okay I''ll pick you up at your house ." Said Hayes while looking at me. 

" Sounds good, byeeee" I said while ending the video call. 

I couldn't believe that Hayes Grier asked me out on a date. I just can't believe I hope I don't mess this up.
