"...A local man called the police of a teenage boy picking up to back packs in front of an ally way..." the reporter continued.

"I knew this would happen," Brian said.

"...The call was made at about ten last night. The boy fled for three blocks and was finally shot in the leg by police. The police searched Hunter, there were no weapons on him but in one of the backpacks there was at least fifteen to twenty knives. With that brings the end to the six o'clock news..."

"Turn it off," Brian said getting up. I picked up the remote and pressed the power button.

"I'm sorry," I said to Brian and followed him up the stairs.

"I don't care about him," he said passing Zach's bedroom.

"Bull shit, I saw you save his life, and how you took care of him," I said walking into the guest room. He turned around and grabbed my shoulders.

"I know, but," he stopped, "but, I don't know. I just hope he's not dead." I hugged him.

"He'll be okay," I said. He pulled out of the hug and kissed me. Finally.

He stopped. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be," I said. He sat down on the bed and wiped his face with his hands. He was crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked him. The bed squeaked when I sat down.

"All of this, it's too much. My only friend, now he's gone," he said and laid back on the bed.

"I bet they're still out there, waiting for you to come get them," I said and laid down next to him.

"You think?" He asked, rolling on his side to face me. I nodded. The light shines off his neck. I reach over and pull a patch off his neck.

"What is this?" I asked, holding up the patch.

"I don't know," he said, I raised my eyebrow at him. He lightly hit me, "It's not a birth control patch." We both laughed.

"I wonder how it got there," I said looking at it. "It has the initials 'JH' on it."

He rolled back and looked at the ceiling for a minute, then sprang up, "Josh!" He yelled.

"What? And who's Josh?" I asked.

"He's my brother, he works in the army and he must have tagged me and maybe even Karley and Hunter," he said, "let me see it."

"Do you know how it works?" I asked and handed it to him.

"He put these on me before. If it breaks, the person hurts them self majorly it will set off a signal to the person with the control," he said, "and these things don't break easily."

"Then he probably knows where Karley and Hunter are," I said, he nodded then ran out the door. I got off the bed and ran after him down the hallway. He was in the kitchen by the time I was at the top of the stairs. Skipping every other step I ran down the stairs.

"A hammer? What do you need a hammer for?" Amanda asked.

"What, are you going to kill yourself with it?" Zach tried to be funny.

"Shut up!" she yelled at him.

"We need to break this," Brian said holding up the patch. She took the patch from him and ripped it in half.

"Will this do it?" She said, holding up the patch.

"It's not broken yet," Amanda looked at him confused, "It's military equipment it does break easily, and it would flash red when it's broken."
