Tanner POV
"Faggot!" he shouted as he pushed me into the locker door as he walked by with his crew right behind him, laughing at his remark. I kept my head down, not saying anything as I kept walking at a brisk pace, hearing the snicker of classmates as I walked by them. God I hated Zach and his posse. They have bullied me since middle school, making school absolute hell. I try to avoid them in the halls as best as possible, but they always seem to find me.
I walk into my last lesson of the day, English, which was a breeze. I was so far ahead from my classmates, that it's literally a free period for me. The class went by pretty fast and I was glad. The sooner I got home, the better.
* * * *
I walk into the house which was usually pretty quiet since my foster mom was hardly around. I grab the laptop off the kitchen counter and headed upstairs to my room. I logged onto my Match account and was stunned by all the messages I got from so many girls and a couple guys which was kinda gross. The only thing I cared about right now was Heather Matthews, who didn't send me a message which was disappointing. Deciding to be the bigger person here I decided to send her a message:
To: Heather Matthews
Hey beautiful
No I can't send that! I'm defiantly coming off to strong.
To: Heater Matthews
Hey babe how are you?
Another no. I sound like a creep, and I shouldn't call her babe right away. God why was this so hard to type up a simply messgae. I decided to go with just a "hey" and hoped for the best.
Kayla POV
"Hey honey, there's some cookies all the table if you want any" my mom said as I walk through the door. I grabbed three cookies off the plate and went to my room and shut the door. I waited all day for this, I opened my laptop and logged into my Match account. Three new messages. Only three?! Wow this really ruins my self-esteem, I mean Heathers. Pretending to be someone else, will be a big challenge, I really hope it's worth it in the end. I opened my inbox and my heart literally drops to my stomach, along with my mouth which just hanged right open.

Hey
Hey!! he said hey to me! I was so happy, who wouldn't be, I'm pretty sure every girl would be going crazy if a hot guy texted her a hey. Should I say hey what's up or just hey. After a couple minutes of going back and forth, I decided to say hey(: with the smiley face to show I was interested. My hands were so sweating, as I dragged my mouse to hit the send button.
Maybe this idea wasn't so bad after all
