Tanner POV
Talking with Heather over the past few weeks, has really helped me cope with everything in the real world. I learned so much about her, her dad died was she was eight in a car accident, her favorite food is a hotdog, she doesn't have a brother or sister, her best friend is Shea, she's a senior in highschool, she doesn't play any sports, and she lives in New York. I told her the basics about me, well Ryan. He played football, is captain of the team, he lives in California, he's a senior in highschool, he has a mom and dad and one brother, and his favorite food was pizza. What sucked the most about all that was what I always imagined and hoped for. Every time we stopped talking reality slapped me across the face and I was back in hell. I was back to being bullied in school, to being abused and hated by my foster mom, being alone constantly, never feeling loved. Talking with her was the only time I felt alive and happy, is that the feeling you get when your in love?
Kayla POV
"Who's the mysterious boy?" Shea asked me as she drove me home from school. Her blue eyes twinkled as a smile formed on her face, showing her perfect white teeth. My heart rate picked up, oh god did she know about Ryan and the account! She couldn't have, no one knows. "W-What are you talking about" I stammered. "There has to be something your not telling me, like come on, you have checked your phone at least a million times in the past minute. Spill!" I stayed quiet, gathering my thoughts. I can't tell her, she will think I'm stupid for talking to guys online, I know she will flip to, especially since I haven't told her. I sighed loudly. She was my best friend, she will be happy for me eventally. I begin to tell her everything from the beginning.

"Your kidding right!?" Shea half yelled looking at me with one eyebrow raised. We were sitting in my drive way in her car, when I finished telling her. When I didn't respond and kept looking at her she knew I was serious. "You can't be serious. You know how stupid this is and damgerous! This guy could be a rapist or a killer or both!" she continued frantically. "He's not though" I mumbled looking down at my hands. "How do you know?" "I just do ok! We have been talking for a while now and I just know." I said slightly irritated at her for not supporting me or being excited she was just being a total bitch. There's nothing wrong with me talking to a innocent guy online, he was so good to me unlike the other assholes in my school. "He's a good guy" I said still trying to convince her. She just looked at me her eyes piercing holes in my face, she was angry I could tell. "What happens, when you start liking him, you can't date he lives in California, and he doesn't even know who you really are" I didn't respond. "I got to go" I said as I grabbed my bag off the floor and headed inside. Her question kept repeating in my head, I don't like him we are just friends. I kept telling myself. I wasn't to convincing, maybe I did like him, just a little though. It's no big deal he likes Heather not Kayla anyway, and he won't ever find out who I really was.
Shea POV
I was so mad, more than mad fucking furious. I don't understand why Kayla would do this, there are so many guys from our school why would she want someone online, an she wasn't even telling the truth to him. I sped home and pulled into the my driveway. I bolt threw the door and to my computer so fast. I was so mad I didn't know what I was doing my mind and body were just going. The next thing I know I've made a Match account with my name and real information and searched for this Ryan kid. When he's account popped up right away I sent him a message.
