Kayla POV

*2 years later*

Tanner's body was never found. It's been two years since that awful day, the worst part was no one morned for him not even his mother. I still search for his body, even though the police stopped I still search. I go back to the day on the bridge and sit over the edge trying to feel what he felt understand his pain but I never could. I don't know how someone with that much pain and sadness can take their life. I still think about him everyday, wanting to rewind that day and make it different, but I can't go back and right now that day has been a teaching moment for me. It taught me that it's what the heart feels not the eyes, it taught me to not judge people but accept them so they won't have a reason to cause harm to themselves. At night before I go to sleep I still leave his messages in his Match inbox, hoping one day he will answer, but knowing he never will.

As I walk down the beach, my feet barley touching the water, the wind blowing between my hair, I pick up a stick and write Tanners name in the sand for him to see. Once I finished writing it I sit down next to his name like he's actually here with me, and watched the sunset go down. As the wind picks up speed I whisper into the wind letting it carry my words away.

" I miss you when you are far away, I think about you ever night and day, even if we can't be together, I will miss you

Now and forever"
