It was Show time. The field was like a living hurricane. the thrill of game night and the bright lights of the field was taking over the place. The roaring fans at the pep rally bonfire - and marching band - the rhythm of the drum line and the synchronized movements during halftime and playing music in the stands -Not to mention the cheerleaders being athletic and perfect. Adding hot boys to all those great things was just the icing on the cake.
-" Where's Sky, she doesn't answer her phone, and she's nowhere to be found" Liraz complained
-" Really, come on we need her here. We could use some football terminology" Heidi giggled
Gio was running around, goofy dancing, spreading joy and excitement everywhere, the huge cat stood up facing the pretty girls, doing all sorts of crazy dances
-" Gio, you suck, really stop" Heidi said, not impressed
-" You look sexy, Gio, keep it up" Lydia said
Sky takes off the huge cat head off of her and burst out laughing
-" Oh my god, sky" Liraz said roaring with laughter
-" What's wrong with you" Said Lydia curling up, shrieking of hilarity
-" Well, what a great way to end the Bet week other than being Gio" she giggled running and cheering
-" That's crazy" Heidi laughed
-" That's her middle name" Liraz stated looking at her watch
-" Expecting someone?" Lydia asked
-" No, no, not at all"
She turned around, watching faces she doesn't know, looking everywhere for that one familiar face. Food, fans, and players all contributed to an impressive football game. Pre-game tailgate parties, of course, made it much more entertaining. Tailgate parties, usually occur in the parking lots at stadiums before games. In some points, tailgating make more sense than going to a real football game to fans, since it is an excuse for people to drink as much as they can before...
It was a hot unbearably warm night. The football players came onto the field, and they saw at how the field was sticky and knew it was going to be difficult to play on. Parents, brothers, sisters, and close friends all piled into the stands to see the game of the year. The time was seven thirty p.m. on a Friday night. The official stopped for a moment, looked at his stopwatch, and blew his whistle. The biggest scariest players from each team started to walk towards the middle of the field, to shake hands and wish each other luck. The players meet each other at the middle. A smell of hatred and disgust was something you could smell between these teams. Parents and grandparents alike came to their feet in the stands. They both knew someone would leave injured, but losing to these guys was out of the question. The official tossed a polished silver quarter into the air. The coin hit the hellish turf with a shiny face of George Washington clearly showing. We would receive the ball to start the game. All of the anger infested players shook hands and ran back to their sideline. The fans began to cheer as the players took the field again. Little did anyone know how much both teams prepared for this game of the year.
As the ball was placed on the tee ready to be kicked away you could see the concentration on everyone's face. The game clock read fifteen minutes on the dot; time outs were at three a piece, it was the beginning of the first quarter. Suddenly, a whistle blew, and the ball was kicked with amazing force, you could see just rise and rise.
-" Go Savages"
-" Woo hoo, go Savages!"
The crowd was shouting and cheering for the team. They were called savages, they had a crushing defense. There's a saying, "A good attack wins games, but a good defense wins championships." That's a very common statement when describing the most successful team in the country.
