MACKENZIE

Good Morning, beautiful 

The text message I woke up to from Cayden. It surprised me, and my heart skipped a beat, but we were just friends, for now. Especially because a part of me was still stuck with Nathan. We've been together for so long, it hurts me that he simply turned his back on me without even asking for the facts first. 

I went to do my hygiene and stepped out to see someone laying under my covers. I frowned and walked over to the bed before ripping the sheets back. 

"Surprise!" Ky yelled jumping up and pulling me down. 

I laughed, "What are you doing here?!" 

My hair dripped on to the bed, and all over him. I only wore a robe, but it wasn't the first time Kyrin has seen me naked, so it wasn't a big deal to me. 

"Came to see you." He smiled, "Heard you had an attack yesterday, I just wanted to make sure everything was alright with you." He said, sounding concern. 

"Yeah," I sighed and sat up, re-wrapping the towel on my head, "I just couldn't take it, everyone's talking about me." 

"Everyone's always talking about you, Ken." He laid holding himself up on his forearm. 

"I know, but now, it's negative things. I don't really mind, but at the same time, having people so close, so in my business...you know how that makes me feel." I explained. 

He nodded, his eyes filled with sympathy. He understood, he knew me and I could trust him 100%.

"You gotta remember, people gon' always have some shit to say about you..who gives a fuck. If they fuck with you tell 'em Ky will come through and whoop all there asses." He smiled, and I laughed.

"I'll keep that in mind." I nodded, "You know Nathan dumped me." I informed him as I slid off the bed and put on my panties and bra. 

I freely walked through my room to my closet to find something to wear. I picked up a shirt and Ky shook his head in digust. I immediately put it back.

"I heard, not too sure why. He said you cheated, but I doubt that." He said. 

"At least soomeone believes me." I sang, as I picked up a tank top and put it on. 

"Of course, I got your back." He reassured me, "He's been acting weird lately, anyways."

"It doesn't have anything to do with me." I sighed as I dragged on my maxi skirt with two slits on each leg. 

Ky whistled in approval and I smiled, "Thank you, thank you." I spun and did a mock-model strut. 

"We gotta take you somewhere so I can show off how good-looking my best friend is." He smirked, "Let's go for breakfast." He suggested.

"I'm down, I'd rather be anywhere than at school." I agreed. 

He gave me a sympathetic smile as I slid on my ballets flats and put my hair in a quick bun. 

MALIYAH

I felt sore after my afternoon with Trystan. I groaned as I pulled myself out of bed. I walked into the hallway and saw Mackenzie walking out of her room with Kyrin.
