Chapter 19

Jax and Tara couldn't keep the smiles off of their faces as they walk into Scoops. Donna is sitting at one of the booths with Kenny, Ellie, Abel, and Thomas. Jax kisses Tara quickly before he goes upstairs. Tara walks over to Donna and the kids and sits down. Donna notices the smile on Tara's face. "I take it the appointment went great?" Tara nods her head. "Yep. We're going to tell you all together." Donna pouts. "Can't you tell me? We're best friends." Tara laughs as she shakes her head. "Nope. You have to wait just like everyone else." Donna sighs. "Fine. I heard Jax was late. Opie told me." Tara nods. "Yeah. But he eventually made it. He's going to tell me everything tonight." Donna says, "Good. You two don't need anymore secrets between you." Tara hugs her two boys. "You got that right."

Jax is filling the guys in on what happened today with his mother, Wendy, and Collette. He says, "I don't want to get into everything because I need to talk to my wife first, but they're all nuts." Opie laughs. "I could've told you that, brother. The things they've all put Tara through? Especially Gemma and Wendy." Jax nods his head in agreement. "I know. Collette came to Diosa today. She talked to Winsome but she told me everything. Winsome told me that Collette wanted her to seduce me to see how committed I am to Tara. Gemma and Wendy are also apart of it. They want to make Tara look like she's too unstable to care for our children. I have to talk to Tara about all of this. She's been through too much already. She doesn't need anymore shit to deal with." He then smiles. "Today has been a good day, as well. We found out what we're having, but you will find that out tonight. There's a party at Diosa to celebrate. We're going to tell everyone then." He bangs the gavel and the guys all go back downstairs as Gemma walks through the door of Scoops.
