Eddie and Richie had made plans at the beginning of summer. Now, their dreams of doing dumb, teenager stuff had been thrown out the window.

"Look, Eds, I don't want to leave." Eddie looked away, squeezing his eyes to hold back the tears. "Don't fucking call me that, asshole." I flinched, he never yelled at me like that. "Baby, I promise if it was my choice I'd stay here with you." I reached out towards him and he crossed his arms, backing away. "Just leave."

I sighed, "Can you just listen to me?" He looked up at me, signaling for me to talk. "I want to get my career kickstarted. I don't know why you can't just be happy for me trying to live my dream. If you want to do anything even remotely related to acting you have to start young." He chuckled, "To think that one time you considered me your favorite dream."

I went towards him again, and he turned around. "Richard fucking Tozier, I hope you burn in hell." I scoffed, "Okay, girly boy." He turned around, looking towards. "Wait, Eds, I'm sorry I was just mad I didn't mean it." Then I watched him walk away for the last time.
