THE ZODIAC BATTLE

#CHAPTER 7

She yawned as she pressed herself against the wall of the back alley.
"Anything?" She asked tilting her head towards the man who was keeping his eyes on the drugs.
The man stood straight and walked to her, he could see that she was sleepy.
"Not yet." He answered. She frowned then moved in front of him to see for herself.
"Its already midnight.. I don't think they will move." Libra whispered. Leo stood close behind her.
"They will. The more time they keep the drugs here, the more will be the risk." Leo stated. His hot breaths touched the nape of her neck. She knew he was close to her, very close and him being this much close was enough to make her heart go crazy. She turned to face him and bumped in his hard chest. He almost chuckled.
She looked up at his face. Nothing was clear in the darkness except his golden glittering eyes looking down at her. He gulped,she gasped. Their bodies were literally pressed against each other. She finally managed to back away fighting her mind which wasn't letting her to back off. Leo suddenly pressed his palm against her mouth and sliding his arm around her waist he pinned her against the wall. Her eyes remained wide open in shock. Leo wasn't looking at her rather he was looking towards the pharmacy. She knew why he did that. She remained silent beneath him waiting for him to let go. After sometime he glanced at her and caught her glancing back at him. Her hands were rested on his chest. She looked down at her hands. Something banged against her palms. It was loud, frequent and clear. She looked up at his face realising the thing that was beating against her palms was his heart. He stepped back and rolled his eyes away from her to the pharmacy while she remained in a daze.
"They are moving." Leo glanced at her. She looked at him spacing out.
"Huh?" She murmured. He smiled.
"They are here..they are moving the drugs." He explained. She snapped back into reality then slowly walked forward.
"Yes." She added. He smiled bringing his focus to work now. Some people dressed in black took out the boxes full of drugs and began to fill two vans. There were total 4 vans. The other two vans were assumed to be filled already as they could see boxes in it.
"There were other places with drugs..we only found one." She whispered. He nodded.
"They are going to send the 4 vans in 4 different directions." Leo said.
"Their faces are covered skillfully...we can't get a single glance of their skin." She pointed out. He nodded.
"The administrators are directly involved as they are using vans...they are not supposed to use vans except for marketing reasons." She added. The people got on the vans and they began to move. At first they divided into two. Leo glanced at libra, she understood his gesture to follow two of them.
"Stop following if they get suspicious...meet me in front of the Zodiac quarters gate.. I'll wait..be safe." He said. She nodded then ran off to follow. He went the other way sending libra off.

Leo stood beside libra in front of Lt. Robert.
"They are selling the drugs to small groups of drug dealers inside the century... some drugs were taken at the west of the century and the rest were taken to the end of the back gate of the century." Leo reported.
"That means the mountains and near the end of the century wall...send our soldiers to capture them." Robert ordered. Leo nodded.
"What about the analysis of the drug?" Robert asked Sagittarius.
"Dr. Xania said its gonna take some more time." Sagittarius answered. Robert nodded.
"What about the administrators?" Robert asked.
"They are importing drugs and selling them around century..and they are bringing in the intruders." Gemini reported.
"Intruders?!" Aquarius exclaimed. Gemini nodded.
"Its gonna take time to track all the drug dealers and also the intruders..the century is big." Scorpio added.
"Then i am assigning Gemini, pisces, scorpio and Cancer, the intellectual department to the drug cases and the intruders..track them down and bring them for investigation alive." Robert ordered.
"Yeah.. secretary Michael is gonna pay us a visit..so Aquarius manage the list of whatever weapons we need and also make a list of all the supplies for the soldiers that we need." Robert added. Aquarius nodded.
"The century is good except those drugs sir." Aries reported.
"Yeah..we are gonna solve them soon..just be safe everyone.. protect each other." He patted Aries's shoulder.
"You are dismissed..eat breakfast and dispatch for work." Robert smiled at the warriors who looked tired but still all of them stood tall and pretended to be fine. Robert stalked out and the moment he stalked out libra fell on the ground as well as Aries. Gemini laid on the couch while pisces was stretching his arms as they hurt like hell. The door slamed open, a 16 year old boy ran inside. Everyone were startled by the sound of the slamming of the door.
"Hey!!!!.. wanna die George??!!" Taurus frowned as he sat on the floor lifeless leaning against the wall and virgo sat beside him leaning on his shoulder.
"He really wants to die."Sagittarius added massaging scorpio's shoulder while cancer massaged Sagittarius's shoulder.
George chuckled.
"Sorry." He waved his hand at the zodiac warriors then gestured something. Few soldiers came inside.
"What?" Libra asked eyeing the soldiers grinning at them.
"You all must eat properly." George added. One of the soldiers walked to Taurus and pulled him up and began to drag him out.
"Yaaa!!" Taurus shouted. Libra laughed as one of the soldiers approached her.
"I'll walk, Jake." She stood up.
"I can't walk." Scorpio said out. Jake and Andrew walked to him and lifted him up as they walked to the cafeteria. Everyone was laughing. George smiled. He felt someone patting his head. He looked up and saw leo smiling at him.
"Hey leader!" He smiled.
"Good job.. cheering them up." Pisces added then followed the others out.
"Lets go." Leo wrapped his arm around George's neck then stalked out with others. Gemini pulled up Aries as well as helped others to get up as they joined their friends to go to the cafeteria.
"Here!!!!" Libra waved her hand to a man in glasses. He waved back smiling at her then walked to her. She slapped her hand on a sit between her and virgo. He glanced at virgo smiling and talking with Capricorn then blushed. He made his way to libra and sat between her and virgo. Libra slapped his back, he flinched.
"Hey Mike!" She wrapped her arms around him. He embraced her back.
" Been a long time buddy." Mike smiled rubbing his palm on her back. He felt another pair of hand giving him a back hug wrapping its hands around his waist.
"How have you been?!" He heard virgo smiling on his back. He smiled.
"One lucky man you are!" Capricorn laughed
Libra and Virgo released him. Mike pushed up his glasses facing scorpio sitting opposite to him.
"You guys look so tired.. i am gonna send some vitamin capsules today... I'll ask Mavin to bring them." Mike said eyeing every single of them.
"You are the only one we can count on Dr. Mike Strandon." Gemini frowned. Mike chuckled then glanced at leo sitting at the other table eating with the other soldiers. Leo smiled at him, he smiled back.
"So..head Doctor did you went to the century?" Libra asked.
"Oh yeah.. found any remedy?" Sagittarius asked. Mike pressed his lips together.
"Nope.. Xania is still examining...its from outside so we need time." Mike explained. Everyone nodded. Mike glanced at Virgo eating her food.
"Hey...your healing masks are ready.. kevin will bring them to you." Mike smiled at virgo.
"Ohh really?!!..thank you soo much..these days my skin has gone through a lot." Virgo whined touching her cheeks. Taurus smirked. Cancer laughed.
"Sometimes i really wish not to have this soul reading ability." Cancer chuckled. Mike froze as well as Taurus. Libra glanced at leo in panic.
"Especially you!!.. your thoughts are driving me crazy!!" Cancer kicked libra as she sat opposite to her next to scorpio.
"What are you thinking about?" Gemini asked.
"Who are you thinking about?" Aries corrected. Mike laughed. Leo kept staring at her while she insisted that she didn't thought of anyone particularly. Gemini wrapped his arms around her neck strangling her.
"Tell me!" Gemini chuckled. Libra poked him with her elbow. He let go of her yelping in pain.
"I am gonna tell everyone that.." Gemini stood up.
"What?" Pisces laughed.
"Nothing!!" Libra yelled.
"That whenever wines are missing from Lt. Robert's house..the one who stole them..was.." Gemini grinned. Libra stood up, he began to run while she followed him running around the cafeteria while the other soldiers only laughed. No matter whatever their end was, they lived however they wanted and no one stopped them.
"Stop it!!" Leo yelled inside his mind unable to show how upset he was seeing Gemini and libra laughing together.
"Libra!! Gemini!!.. enough guys.. come here and finish eating." Cancer chuckled looking at leo. Leo was a bit embarrassed though.
"They look really good together." Aries awwed. Leo shot her a look which she didn't notice.
"I bet that they are gonna end up together." Aquarius laughed watching them being lectured by an older soldier who was called Jack.
"Are you guys matchmaking right now!!!.. you must have forgotten that you have duties..eat quickly and practice!" Leo shouted. Everyone halted. There was a silence across the hall and everyone gulped down their food silently. Leo glared at libra when she tried to give him a gentle smile.
"Did..did i do something wrong?" She thought looking at cancer who only smiled at her. She avoided Leo's glare and then took her seat.
Everyone left the cafeteria after eating breakfast while leo asked cancer to stay. She stayed until everyone went away. Leo walked to her.
"There's nothing going on between Gemini and libra..they are the best duo among us..thats all." Cancer explained before he could ask anything.
"Yeah." Leo mumbled.
"They are best friends..you can't expect them not to care for each other you know...they are really precious to each other." Cancer smiled.
"I know that. " Leo smiled.
"For libra..its pure friendship." She added.
"And for Gemini?" He asked.
"That.. i am not supposed to say." Cancer answered. Leo smirked.
" Do you know that you just confirmed my doubt?" Leo said. She laughed.
"Well..one rival in nothing." Leo sighed.
"No leader.. don't think that you have only one rival." Cancer smiled. Leo stared at her unable to understand her words.
"Are you gonna do what you just thought?" Cancer asked reading his mind. He shrugged. Cancer chuckled.
He strolled out leaving cancer alone smiling.
"What are you smiling for?" Scorpio almost shouted. She turned to him.
"What are you shouting for?" Cancer shouted.
"What were talking about with leo?.. and..and why are you smiling?" Scorpio asked again.
"None of your concern." She answered sarcastically. He smirked then threw a file at her. She grabbed the file giving him looks.
"This contains the identity of some of the drug dealers.. let's go and investigate them tomorrow." Scorpio said in his grumpy tone.
"Go with Gemini or Sagittarius." She said.
" No..they are busy..you can read their thoughts idiot..it has to be you!" Scorpio pressed. She nodded understanding what he meant. She began to go through the file while scorpio stared at her face.
"Don't smile at another man!" Cancer heard. She looked up at him and found him staring at her dumbstruked.
"Wh..y?" She asked. He was shocked.
"Wha..at wh..y?" He stuttered.
"Didn't you ..." Cancer opened her mouth but he interrupted her.
"I said nothing!" Scorpio looked away.
"Then did i just heard your thoughts?.. did you just let your guard down in front of me?" Cancer was trying hard not to laugh.
"It wasn't me..maybe it was someone else..i am going!!" Scorpio ran off. Cancer was laughing. But she stopped when she found herself laughing for scorpio. She hit her head.
" Whats wrong with me these days?!" She thought as she watched scorpio's running away.
