#CHAPTER 9

#Hello again.... Please keep on reading and vote too..pls... And actually i wanted to ask sth..which one of the characters do you guys like the most?...i am a libra but the character i like the most is pisces...💖💛 Anyways thanks.

"Pass me the beer!!" Pisces said in his drunken raspy voice. George walked towards him stumbling then handed the beer bottle to Gemini.
"Here." George smiled. Gemini hit the back of his head.
"Give it to Pisces!" He chuckled. He was drunk too. George nodded then fell on the ground stumbling. Sagittarius grabbed his collar then picked him up.
"Hey!!! You useless stupids!! How many times have i asked you to not give him alchohol!!" Sagittarius yelled. The soldiers continued drinking ignoring Sagittarius.
"Oh..bro..i am sorry..its just that i am sad." George smiled releasing himself from Sagittarius then making his way to Libra who sat in the middle of soldiers surrounding her in a circle.
"Ok.... Did you hear about the kidnapping?" Libra shouted.
"What kidnapping?" The soldiers asked together.
"Don't worry..the kid woke up." Libra laughed out loud at her own jokes.
"Is that a joke?" Pisces asked. He looked around and found everyone laughing.
"You guys must be kidding me." Pisces sighed drinking his beer.
"Another!!!" The soldiers insisted.
"Umm...ok..then..what do you call somebody with no body and no nose??" She asked almost breaking out in laughter. Sagittarius walked to her laughing then wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"I know this one..i was the one who told you this!!" Sagittarius laughed.
"What??" The soldiers asked.
Libra glanced at Sagittarius.
"Nobody knows!!" She and Sagittarius shouted together. The whole zodiac quarters filled with screams and laughters.
"These stupids!" Pisces laughed.
"More..one more!!" The soldiers shouted. Sagittarius got ready to tell the next one while Libra ran and sat amongst the soldiers.
"She hasn't touched the beer but why do i feel like she's drunk?" Cancer mumbled leaning against Virgo's shoulder.
"Because that's normal?" Virgo answered. Aquarius walked to the girls and sat beside them.
"Have you seen Capricorn?" She asked. The girls nodded .
"He's dancing with the soldiers." Cancer pointed at Capricorn dancing around drunk.
"Have you seen Aries?" Virgo asked. Suddenly something fell on top of them. It was Aries almost unconscious.
"That's why i ask this bitch not to drink..call for Pisces!" Cancer shouted.
"Pisces!!" Aquarius got up to call Pisces. Cancers eyes fell on scorpio, Taurus and Gemini singing and dancing together with the soldiers while George was getting more drinks.
"This is...great." Cancer whispered.
"Can you go and bring Xania.. she's been working all day." Mike sat beside libra and shouted in her ears because of all the noises. She nodded then walked to Sagittarius.
"I'll be back." She said then walked to the Zodiac laboratory for Xania. She greeted the security officer Ronin.
"Xania is inside right?" She asked. Ronin nodded.
She ran inside for Xania. She peeked into the lab rolling her eyes around in search of Xania. Suddenly a hand fell in her shoulder she jumped back letting out a scream. She turned and saw a familiar face laughing at her.
"Hey!!" Libra whined. Xania came and embraced her then entwined their arms together.
"Why are we going inside?.. let's go out..your cheif Mike asked me to bring you outside...and where are everyone else?" Libra looked around.
"Everyone went home...my work is also done.. I just have to make the report on that drug you've brought." She walked to her table and began to search through the papers.
"What do you think?" Libra asked sitting in front of her.
"The drug is like a slow poison... doesn't kill you instantly but slowly....i have been working on the cure too.." she smiled.
"We have to be fast!" Libra said.
"Libra.." Xania called out to her with an anxious face. Libra glanced at her.
"Is something wrong?" She asked.
"Actually... I don't know whether i should tell you this or not but someone from the inside are helping them out." Xania sighed.
"Inside?..like one of the soldiers?" She asked.
"No...like someone important...who knows everything about the century...think...why not even a single border soldier knows about the intruders smuggling inside..unless the intruders completely avoided them.. Cancer said that even their minds were clear... someone is telling them about our arrangement of soldiers....and about today... they knew each and every weakness of the Zodiac warriors....which is only known by the persons inside the quarters." She explained. Libra listened to her carefully.
"Yes...that makes sense." Libra added.
"Actually...the day before the intruders attacked the century gate i saw one of the soldiers with centurian revolver talking with someone at the 7th decade district...i couldn't see his face." Xania said.
"Well.. do you remember anything else other than his face?" She asked. Xania nodded.
"Well..he had really big feets." Xania said out.
"Hey..most of out soldiers have nig feets..thats nothing." She frowned. Xania laughed.
"Anyways go ahead...i am gonna come after making the report.. it'll take 2 hrs?..or 1hr?" She smiled. Libra grabbed her hand.
"And Xania... don't tell anyone about it and don't involve youself...ok?.. just stay safe..you know you are the only family sagi has got left..so stay safe...and come quick my friend..we are waiting." She got up but Xania grabbed her hand. Libra turned to her.
"Why?" She asked. Xania smiled.
"Libra...you know you are the only friend i can count on right?" Xania asked. Libra walked then sat beside her.
"Yes..tell me anything." She said wrapping her arms around Xania, patting her back gently.
"These days..i m really worried about Sagi...take care of him." Xania said hugging her back tightly. Libra nodded. At last both of them let go of each other.
"Come quickly." Libra smiled running outside to join her combrades. As she ran out she bumped into someone but before she could hit the ground large hands grabbed her shoulders. She looked up and a big smile crossed her lips.
"Michael!!..oh..i mean Lt. Michael." She smiled. Michael rubbed his large palm on her head.
"Everything good?" He asked. Libra nodded.
"Why don't you join us? We are having fun at the field." She insisted. He laughed.
"Robert's gonna kill me if he finds me drinking with you kids!" He chuckled.
"Lt. Have you got the list of supplies?" Libra asked. He nodded.
"Go ahead then..i have some work to attend." Michael smiled. Libra smiled then ran outside while Michael made his way inside.
Libra ran to Cancer, virgo and Aquarius drinking together and joined them in drinking.
"Should we let her drink?" Virgo asked in her droopy eyes.
"She is a mess when she drinks." Cancer answered.
"I know..stop her." Aquarius said in her half consciousness.
"Yeah..stop her." Virgo added.
"We have to stop her!" Cancer yelled. And yet nobody was stopping her. Leo and Max sat together making new strategies and watching their soldiers dancing and singing together.
"Its actually good that..they are trying to pull themselves together." Max smiled. Leo only observed his friends with a smile, a sad smile.
"I wanna say something!!" Scorpio moved up on a table. Everyone looked at him.
"Its the share your thoughts game." Aries laughed leaning against Pisces's chest.
"I know its hard friends...to loose someone you love..to loose a Friend...to loose someone you have spend half you lives with..but.. don't break down...be strong....do you know what is the best thing we can do for them??!!" Scorpio shouted as tears rolled down from his eyes. Everyone was silent. Some were crying out loudly and some were crying inside while some were blank.
"Whaat??!" The soldiers cried out.
"Lets live....and fight...to protect the rest of those whom we love and with whom we have spend half of our lives with.." scorpio yelled wiping his tears. Everyone cheered.
"Because if we fight and manage to live...there are more beautiful days ahead of us... cheer to those days!!" Taurus shouted. Everyone cheered and drank again.
"They have grown a lot!" Leo smiled.
"Hey...kid.. Don't talk like an old man!" Max chuckled. Leo chuckled too.
While everyone was drinking and shouting libra made her way to the top of the stairs and stood above everyone.
"Leo!!!" She called out. Realising no one was listening she again called out his name. This time every head turned towards her. She smiled stumbling.
"That's right." She smiled.
"Shit!!" Virgo stood up and Aquarius who was sleeping in her lap fell on the ground.
"Stop her!" Taurus was almost choking. Capricorn tried to go to libra but he couldn't because of the soldiers who were grabbing onto him.
"Let her be." Pisces laughed. Aries got up too.
"She's gonna regret if we don't stop her!!" Aries kicked Pisces. Taurus gestured scorpio to go to her. Scorpio nodded then noticed Sagittarius already running to her. But the soldiers were blocking Sagittarius.
"Leo!!!! You are so cruel...why do keep on confusing me huh??!!" She yelled. Leo now got up shoving his hands inside his pocket.
"You know right??... You know that i love you right??!!" She shouted. The soldiers were cheering while the Zodiac warriors were speechless. Sagittarius gave up and sat down helplessly.
"If you know then you should also let me know..tell me that you don't love me or tell me that you love me!! Let me know you little piece of angry vice!!" She continued.
"What the f..." Pisces cracked into laughter.
"What did my vice do?!" Scorpio whined.
Leo gave out a laugh but then suppressed his laughter.
"Let me know!!.... Do you know how hard it is for me to pretend not to like you...how hard it is to control my heart beat when i am.." before she could say anything George grabbed her mouth and dragged her down.
"You should let her be!!" The soldiers insisted. George dragged her down and made her sit.
"What am i gonna do with you sis?!" George's hand reached his forehead. Leo walked to them.
"She's drunk leo." Sagittarius explained.
"Yes..you know she always creates a mess whenever she's drunk." Scorpio stood infront of him. Leo smirked then tilted his head to glance at libra who was spacing out.
"Yeah...you do whatever you want then pretend like nothing happened?!... Sorry but i can't let that happen anymore." He thought as he remembered the last time she did when she was drunk.
"Libra...talk with me." He pushed scorpio and Sagittarius aside then grabbed her hand and dragged her away from the field towards the Zodiac forest.
"She's dead." Scorpio gulped. Sagittarius sighed.
"No she's not!" Cancer and Pisces said out together then glanced at each other. Both of them cracked into laughter.
"Where's Gemini?" Virgo looked around then her eyes fell on Gemini laying unconscious beside Taurus who was grabbing into him.
"He heard everything?" Aries asked.
"No..he fainted before libra was talking." Taurus assured.
"Thats a relief!" Aquarius sighed.
"That's not a relief...it would have been better if he heard and saw everything." Pisces explained. Capricorn nodded.
She felt herself being dragged away as the cold wind slamed against her face sobering her up. She felt the tight grip in her wrist almost breaking her wrist then she rolled her eyes to the wide shoulder of the man who was dragging her.
"Why is he dragging me? Did i do something?" She thought while Leo was still taking large step and she was running. Suddenly her mind stucked at a part where she was confessing her love for Leo and asking him for an answer.
"That was a dream right?" She smiled wryly denying the reality.
"Of course that was a dream...i would never do that, i am very good in controlling my emotions." She tried to shook of the nervousness. Finally the dragging and the running ended and leo pushed her against a tree then stood infront of her shoving his hands inside his pocket giving her a cold blank look. She was still trying to figure out whether it was a dream or not.
"What was that?" He asked looking down at her as she was much shorter than him.
"Wha... what?" She asked glancing into his eyes.
"If you know then you should also let me know.. tell me that you love me or tell me that you don't love me?" He repeated her words. Her mouth remained wide open in disbelief.
"What are...you..talk..talking about?" She stammered. He smirked.
"You don't know?" He asked. She nodded gesturing no. He slamed his palm on her side at the tree then leaned closer to her.
"It wasn't me." She looked away from him. She thought if she looked into his eyes more she would definitely faint because of the beating of her heart.
"I think i should let you know." Leo mumbled looking down at her mouth.
"Wha.." before she could ask anything his mouth crushed into hers making her squishing against the tree. Her hands were in air still unable to snap into reality. While his hands wrapped themselves around her neck then his body moved to close the distance between their bodies to leave no distance between them. She could feel his body pressed against hers as his hands moved back and forth around her neck, checks and jaw. She could see his eyes closed as his lips coaxed against her lips. He put her upper lips inside his mouth sucking on it then did the same with lower lips sending her chills all over her body. Getting no response from her his hands reached her hands then entwining his fingers with hers he pushed her hands back pressing them against her back pulling her more closer now. She closed her eyes unconsciously letting him do whatever he wants to do. He smiled between the kiss as he pressed his lips against her, parting his mouth and sliding his tongue inside her mouth. She parted her lips too allowing his tongue inside her mouth and responded back by sliding her tongue inside his mouth too. He moaned as he leaned more against her now wrapping his arms around her waist and she slided her arms around his neck. He could sense her feeling pain leaning against the tree roughly so he stepped back pulling her closer and slamming one of his palm against the tree for support. She moaned when their tongues met and suddenly he took hold of her tongue sucking it hungrily while she moved her mouth back and forth adjusting it for Leo. Leo heard Libra panting for breaths but he couldn't hold back. He wanted more. He withdrawed his tongue sucking on her lower lips then upper lips adjusting his mouth to hers. He inserted her lips inside his mouth sucking on them slowly and gently but suddenly they could hear a sound from behind. She pulled away her mouth from him which annoyed him a bit. He opened his eyes and saw libra staring back. As he matched his gaze with hers he realize the tree he was placing his palm against cracked and fell backwards. She glanced at him dumbstruked.
"Leo.." she called out his name. He smiled then gently brushed his lips against hers then locked his lips on her forehead.
"This is what I feel.." he said locking his lips on her forehead then placed a peak on her forehead. He cupped her cheeks then pulled her into an embrace where he pressed her short body against his tall figure. As she slamed her head against his chest she could hear his heart beating fast.
"Your heart is beating really fast." She mumbled against his red shirt. He tightened his grip wrapping his arms around her protectively.
"Its beating fast because of you." He answered. She smiled realising how much she had been waiting for this and at last she got what she wanted.
"I am never gonna let you go!" She embraced him tightly.
"Thats good." He mumbled as he placed a kiss on her head.

"Actually i am worried about libra now..what if he's scolding her a lot?" Aries finally sat after walking back and forth.
"There they are!" George said out. Everyone's eyes remained wide open with amusement as they say Leo walking towards them holding libra's hands tightly.
"Finally it happened!" Scorpio said out loudly.
"Oh my Gawd!!" Virgo jumped onto Taurus chuckling and Taurus did the same. Pisces rolled his eyes around and saw Gemini sitting up looking shooked. He sighed as he was still unable to decide whether he was supposed to be happy for libra or sad for Gemini. He walked to Gemini then grabbed his arm pulling him up.
"Let's go for a drink buddy." He smiled as he dragged Gemini away. Pisces looked back and saw everyone staring at Gemini. He smiled assuring them it was ok. Libra stared at Pisces who was taking Gemini away.
"Whats wrong with Gem??" Libra walked to Cancer .
"He's.. just drunk." Cancer forced a smile. Libra glanced at Gemini.
"I wanted him to be here." Libra sighed. Cancer hugged her tightly. Leo couldn't stop smiling thinking about their kiss a moment ago. Everyone were singing and dancing. Libra was dancing too with Aries, Aquarius, Virgo and Cancer. Sagittarius was dancing with Scorpio, Taurus but suddenly he stopped. He saw his surrounding going blurry, he made his way to a corner then held the wall for support.
"These shoes!" Xania looked up at him in terror, her hands were shaking as she held something close to her chest.
"You...how.." Xania was crying now. She was rolling her eyes around for help. She was scared.
"Why did you do that?" She cried out as tears rolled down from her cheeks.
"Hand it over." The other person said whose voice wasn't clear. Suddenly before Xania could ran away the person hit the back of her head which pinned her to the ground. There was blood everywhere near her. She was still crying taking her last breaths.
Sagittarius gasped as he fell into his knees holding the ground for support now. He couldn't breathe anymore. The tears were rolling down from his eyes but he couldn't make any sound.
"Sagi!!" He heard someone calling out his name. It was libra. She ran to him kneeling in front of him patting his back. She realized he was crying and shaking.
"Why??..wha...did you saw a vision??..where??" She asked raising his face then wiping his eyes with her sleeve.
"Hurry up before its too late!" She shouted.
"La..lab...Xania!!" He managed to shout. She nodded patting his back then began to run as fast as she could to save her friend.
"Please... please Xania...hold on.. please!!" Libra yelled as she ran with all her might. Her tears flying away from her cheeks because of the cold air slamming against her face slowly numbing her face.
"Please..just a bit.. please hold on!!" She shouted as she ran as if she ran for her life.
