Joey's POV

Doctor: You just need to take these.

he threw me a bottle of pills.

Joey: Is the dosage on the bottle?

Doctor: Yep. You can go home in about 2 hours.

everything was perfect. Shane by my side, pills in my hand. everything will be fine. then again, for some people I'm fine means help me. not for me. I don't need help. I'm fine...

Doctor: Don't forget your pills Shane.

Shane smiled and gripped my hand tighter. the doctor left me and Shane and Meghan-san alone in a white room. we sat there and talked.

Shane: Can I see your-

he cut himself off and pointed at my arms. I nodded and slowly removed the bandages from the cuts. the marks were still red but not healed.

Shane: What happened?

Joey: I was sleeping and dreaming that you died then I did this in my dream.

I saw a slight tear roll down Meghan's cheek. Shane's copper hair was covering his amazing eyes. I couldn't tell if he was tearing up.

Shane: So I have been reading a new book.

Joey: Really? What book?

Shane: Well Lisa came to visit and she brought me all the books John Green has written. I am reading The Fault In Our Stars Right Now.

Joey: Lisa visited you?

Shane: Ya. She hugged me and cried a bit. She also got me the books.

Joey: Did she say anything? About me I mean.

Shane: No. I don't know whet we really talked about. She wasn't here for long.

Joey: Oh.

Shane: It doesn't matter. She won't be bugging us anymore.

I suddenly had a weird memory. of Lisa just before I went to bed. I remember Lisa was at the door and I looked out the window and there she was. holding something. but I can't remember what.
