A Shock Awaits ShivIka !

Hi my lovelies, how are you all? I am extremely sorry for I am terribly late. But I had exams and obviously writer's block. So yeah, both of them are cleared now, so enjoy !

After fixing the size of the bangles, Shivaay made Annika wear them. They suited on her wrists.

Shivaay admired her beauty and kissed on the bangles making her chuckle.

They hugged each other yet again!

ShivIka were united, but not for long. Because a huge shock was waiting for them.

They took the first flight to India and decided to announce their marriage. Shivaay consoled Annika that Mallika will be fine. They sat next to each other. She kept her head on his shoulder.

Ani:- Sab thik toh hoga na shivaay?

Shiv:- Hmm, tum ho na mere saath, everything will be fine.

The flight landed in the airport and started for Annika's bungalow.

They felt something was horribly wrong while entering through the gate. It was covered with white flower garlands. Annika grabbed shivaay's hands as the sight in front of her shook her. The land beneath her, slipped.

There in the garden of her house was a small bed on which Dev was lying, more specifically his DEAD body was lying. Shivaay cupped his mouth in shock.

Many people surrounded the dead body wearing white clothes. Ranvijay and Sakshi were sobbing, Tej and Janvi were sadly welcoming the people who came to see the body. And the terrible sight----- Mallika! Her hair was hanging loose, her eyes soared. She was crying hysterically. She was wrapped in a white salwar. She was caressing Dev's lifeless body and screaming. The elders failed to control her.

Annika's eyes filled up with tears and she stared at shivaay. He was horribly shocked too.

Seeing shivaay, Mallika got up from her place and ran towards him. She hugged him tight, "I love you shivaay, you are the only one I have! Papa bhi chale gaye ab iss duniya mein mera koi nahi tumhare alawa....I love you....I love you" she said and gripped his shirt while he tried to jerk her. He was holding Annika's hands tightly. Annika closed her eyes as a tear escaped them. She left his hand and started to move away. His eyes were fixed on her. Tej came and saw Mallika calming down in shivaay's embrace.

All of them went inside.

Ani:- ye sab kaise hua?

Tej:- Heart-attack beta...

Mallika was hugging Shivaay and sitting. He was consoling her but as a FRIEND. He only loved Annika.

Days passed! Tej was pressurizing Shivaay to marry Mallika as he promised Dev when he was alive.

He wanted to tell his dad about his feelings but Annika stopped him.

Shiv:- why are you stopping me?

Ani:- kyu ki main chahti hun ki tum Malli se shaadi karlo...

Shivaay was puzzled, "Tum chahti ho, matlab? Kyu? Aisa kabhi nahi hoga Ani..."

"Please shivaay, Malli only has you in her life. Usse shaadi karlo..." she joined her hands and crying for she was breaking his heart and her too.

"What the hell! I love you.....I'll marry you only"

"We can't be together" she replied which broke her heart.

Shivaay couldn't believe it, how can she do this to him?

"Stop it Annika!!!!! I LOVE YOU, do you get that?" He shouted and held her shoulders. She winced in pain.

"Please shivaay, marry her! She is alone, she's helpless! I beg of you" she threw herself on his feet.

He became angry but he understood her point too. How can he be so selfish? Mallika is his friend for God's sake.

He made Annika stand, his heart aching badly.

"Okay, I'll say yes to marry her. But promise me, jis din main Malli ke saath 'saath phere' lunga...usi din, usi mandap mein tum kisi aur se shaadi karogi ....waada karo" he roared.

Annika looked at him in disbelief...."main ye nahi karsakti"

"Toh tumne ye kaise soch liya ki main ye kar paunga...." he answered in a cracked voice.

Annika looked aside "thik hain...I promise"

"Pinky promise?" he again asked for confirmation.

She nodded and he hugged her one last time. Then, they parted ways.

Om was witnessing the scenario and a tear trickled down his cheeks. He needed to do something.

This is indeed a story of friendship, for Om valued his friendship with Annika more than his love for her. Annika valued his friendship with Malli more than her love, Shivaay. And shivaay, he decided to marry his friend mallika sacrificing his love for Annika...and Malli, she is still confused between Love and Friendship. She is considering her friendship with shiv as love.
