*Lamaya is cleaning her kitchen in her new house that Anthony brought for her*

 *Her cell phone rings*

Lamaya: Hello 

 Detective John: This is detective John I am the one working on your father's murder case can you come down to the station we have new evidence 

Lamaya: OK I will be right there

John: OK

*They hang up the phone*

*She grabs her jacket & Anthony walks through the door before she is about to leave*

Anthony: Hey baby where are you off too?

Lamaya: I got a call from the detective working on my father's murder case he has some new evidence to show me I guess 

Anthony: Oh do you want me to go with you?

Lamaya: If you want too & I know how you feel about police 

Anthony: I know its for you babe I can put my feelings aside 

Lamaya: You are just perfect baby *She kisses him & hugs him tightly*

*She smiles at him & kisses him one more time & they leave together*

*They arrive at the police station*

Anthony: I swear I hate this place & surrounded around nothing but PIGS

Lamaya: Baby you didn't have to come if you did want too

Anthony: No I did wanna come I just hate police very much

*They go inside the police station & Anthony looks around, he had a serious face when he sees an officer*

Lamaya: Detective John please 

Officer: OK one minute please 

*She sees Detective John*

Lamaya: Detective John

*He sees Lamaya*

John: Yes please come with me miss Perez 

*They follow him*

*He sits them in his office & he get the new evidence*

John: OK we got a tip from someone last night & according to them they seen someone trying to break into your father's home through the back window 

Lamaya: That's his bedroom window

John: Did your father have any enemies?

Lamaya: Not that I know of he was every friendly to everyone he came across

John: We also know that your father had a big drinking problem & from the background check he did we found he has a violence past 

Lamaya: What are you talking about?

John: Your father has a domestic violence's record

Lamaya: What? my father I never knew that who pressed charges against my father?

John: A woman named Maria James Rodriguez have you heard of that name before?

Lamaya: No can I have the woman's address maybe I can get some answers out of her 

John: Sure we have tired to reach out her but no one will answer our calls but maybe you can get something 

*He writes the address on a piece of paper*

John: That is her address call us if you find out something

Lamaya: OK thank you so much

*They both get up & leave the police station & Lamaya is holding Anthony's hand as they are walking to the car*

Anthony: You OK?

Lamaya: Yeah I am just a little surprise about the new information, my father having an abuse record he just seem so friendly & kind, I never seen any signs of abuse growing up just him getting drunk 

Anthony: Most parents have a past that they don't want their kids to find out 

Lamaya: I wanna meet this woman
