Shelby's POV
I jumped back, surprised at his action.
"S-Sorry," Max said. "I didn't me-"
I cut him off by kissing him.
"Shut up, Max," I smiled after pulling away.

"Hey, Shub, wanna watch a movie?" Max asked me.
"Sure!" I responded cheerfully.
"I'll get popcorn, you start the movie," he said and walked off.
I grabbed Frozen and put it in.
"What movie are we watching?" He asked me.
"Shutter Island," I responded.
He came back from the kitchen and sat down beside me.
I pressed play. As soon as he looked up, he realized that is wasn't Shutter Island.
I got up and ran.
"SHELBY!!!" I heard Max scream.
I ran up to my room, shut and locked my door.
"SHELBY!!!" He yelled again.
"That's me," I responded.
"Open the door, Shelby," Max said, jiggling the door handle.
"I'm to lazy," I responded.
"I actually need to talk to you," he said, more serious.
I opened the door. He had a worried expression plastered on his face. "What's up?"
He took my hands and pulled me forwards the bed.
"Every time you lock your door, I get really worried," he said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you used to... and I'm afraid you still do it," he said, looking me in eyes.
"I don't mean to worry you. I just don't want anyone to walk in on me getting changed, or in this case, someone trying to kill me," I said and hugged him. "I'm sorry,".
"I like you, Shelby. A lot," Max said.
"I like you a lot, too, Max," I said.
He leaned down, I tilted my head up, since he's like a foot taller than I am.
Our lip's met.
"Shelby, did you ta-" Ross said, bursting into the room. "Oh...Sorry,"
Ross started running out of the room.
I felt Max's hands clench up by my side.
"Max," I said, looking at him. "Calm down,"
"Sorry," he said, his face flushing bright red.
I leaned up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Let's go watch the movie,"
"Not Frozen!" Max yelled after me
