Ship: Carlos x Jane

My opinion:
Okay, let me start out by saying that the Descendants movies are literally my favorite movies right now and I love all of the characters. Carlos is definitely one of my favorite characters. Jane, not so much though. I know that she only made the comment about how Ben would never make Mal a queen since she is a villain because she wanted to fit in with Audrey and all of her friends, but I honestly have never really forgiven her for that. Anyways though onto the ship. I am so sorry if any of you who read this book really ship them , but I just do not see them working out as a couple. I mean, first of all, they really do not have a lot in common. The only similarities that they have are that they are both fourteen, both kind of shy, and both have brown hair. And even though I have said many times before that opposites attract, they also cannot be too different or else a relationship can't really work out in the long run. Second, I strongly support the fan theory that Carlos is either gay or bisexual, so I really only ship him with Jay or Mal. Third, Carlos and Mal have a very strong brother/sister relationship (bummer since after Jaylos, Marlos is one of my top ships in the fandom) so I do not know if it is overly realistic that he would forgive her for insulting not only Mal but really all of the vks so quickly. Finally, I also found it too predictable since Mal, Evie, and Jay all ended up having feelings for the characters that they danced with during set it off. However, I will say that I did enjoy getting to see Carlos having what is most likely his first crush and getting all nervous and tongue-tied around her; and even though I wish that he would have been with someone other than Jane, I am happy that he is happy.
