My opinion:
Okay, I am just going to start by saying that I love both of these movies soooo much (but I love pretty much every single Disney movie ever made, so pretty much a given lol). These characters are both so unique and fun. I know that I always say stuff about how opposites attract, but in this case, these characters are just so different. I mean, sure they both like to go out and have adventures, and are both stubborn, but that is really all that they have in common. Even though I really love the fact that Peter Pan represents the idea of staying young at heart, he is just too immature for Ariel. Ariel seems to me to be the type of girl that wants a romantic and passionate relationship, while Peter is just not mature enough to provide that for her and may never be. However I hope that if they ever did meet that they would at least be able to be friends.
