Ship: Mal x Evie

My opinion:
I have been in the Descendants fandom since the first movie came out, and I love all of the movies and characters. When I first got into the fandom, I really had three major ships that I was interested in and pretty much did not pay as much attention to the other ships. However, after about a year I started to start reading Malvie fanfictions and watching the videos that others had put together of them, and I instantly fell in love with it. I was literally so mad at myself for not having seen how great of a ship they were before all of this. I just love the chemistry that they have together. While there are a lot of people who see them as having a sisterly bond instead of a romantic bond, I definitely feel that there's is romantic. They are always there for each other and they clearly care about each other a lot and have more chemistry with each other than they do with Doug or Ben, slightly proven by the fact that Evie told Mal without hesitation that she loved her yet had not even kissed Doug before. Even though they may not have gotten together in the end like I hoped that they would, I can honestly say that this is one of my all time favorite ships in the Descendants fandom.
