Chapter4: on Blue ray and DVD

Damon's P.O.V

After Rose, Adrianna and I reached the house. I put Adrianna down for a nap.

After I️ I️ ticked her in I️ went back downstairs and sat in one of the chairs drinking bourbon when Rose entered the room
" I'm sorry about today. I️ didn't know that was going to happen "
Damon holding his cup said to Rose " I believe you "

Rose sighed " I wish we could save Elena. I know that you want to "
" and I will " Damon responded to the elder vampire to which she smiled
" you remind me of Trevor "

Damon frowned confused " why? Why him? "
" because he always talked a big game, he was always working an angle " Rose started
" but underneath it all, he was the best friend anyone could ever have " she finished

"Hummm. Where'd that get him " the raven haired Salvatore questioned and the brunette vampire walked to stand in front of the electric blue eyed man
" dead " she said in a monotone voice
" and my loyalty to him almost got me dead too. "
Damon took her glass from her hand and poured her another drink and toasts " to friendship "

Adrianna's P.O.V

I woke up and felt around so I could get a feel of where I was when I realized I was in bed. I traded over to my right and started to crawl to the end. Once I reached the bottom of the bed, I walked to where I felt Damon while holding my arms out.
It took me a while to find my way from the room to the stairs and when I did, I crawled down the steps backwards like Damon had taught me.

When I reached the final steps I began to hear voices of Damon and Rose, so I walked towards them
" it might just be time to turn the switch off on your emotions "
I heard Rose say when not even 5 seconds later Damon said " I will if you will "

I heard the sound of a glass being set down and then a swoosh.
About 3 seconds later I could feel Damon really close by " Damon " I called out

Third P.O.V

The 2 vampires heads snapped to the child with wide eyes
Damon started to walk to the little girl
" what are you doing up "
The curly haired brunette child smiled up " its movie time "
Damon fake gasped " no. I completely forgot "
Adrianna playing along gasped, " how could you "

" I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you. 3 movies and 3 bowls of ice cream "
Adrianna looked upward as if she was debating the question " humm. I guess so. Only because you offered. "
" only because I offered "
" yep. Rosie you can join too"

" I like this movie " Adrianna said to Rose
" oh do you? " she question
" yeah. I do "
Rose smiled " and why's that "
Glancing from the movie to Rose and then back at the movie " because auntie Jan said that when my momma was my age this was her favorite movie "

" oh. Well then your mother had really good taste because this is a really good movie " Rose said gently
" she did " Adrianna said proudly

Damon who was walking back into the den room with another bowl of ice cream smiled at the brunette haired pair
" look what I have "
" yay. The ice creams here "
" I'm here to " Damon said faking hurt
" yes but the ice creams here "
Damon say down shaking his head " wow "
Rose just say listening and laughing

The second movie had started a good while ago and the opening song was playing

Damon and Adrianna were prancing around the room dancing with Adrianna's feet in Damon's
" when I'm older, I wanna go to New Orleans. Where princess Tiana lives. "

" maybe one day we'll take you "
" I'm a big girl. I can go by myself and get a job like Tiana and open up a restaurant and marry a prince "

" yes. You could do that. " Damon started
" or, you could stay her and open a restaurant, not marry anybody and just get a few cats. I'm not allergic "

" Dammy, I want adventure in the great wide somewhere "
" are you quoting Beauty and the beast? " Damon questioned
" wow Damon you must watch that movie a lot " Rose teased
" we have it on blue ray and DVD "

The trio were in their last movie and only 30 minuets into it when rose got a phone call

" hello "
" Rose "
Siting up straight, Rose looked to Damon who had the half sleep child snuggled into his chest
" Slater, are you okay? "
" yeah. I... I took off. I'm sorry. I was frigging freaked "

" no, I'm sorry to have included you "
" look, I want no part in any of this but I did some digging "
" okay, what did you find? " Rose questioned
" You can destroy the curse, but you need the moonstone " Slater told his friend
" how? What do you mean? I don't follow "
" well can your friend get the moonstone, you'll need it "

Rose looked at Damon who thought for a quick second and then nodded his head
" yes. He could get it. What next? "
" you'll need a witch. G-get the moonstone. A witch should be able to figure out the rest. Good luck Rose "
And with that being said Slater hung up

Rose and Damon shared a look while Arianna who was once half sleep but now fillet awake kept her focus on both her bowl and Damon's bowl of ice cream

" Nicely down " Elijah said to Slater as the later hung up his phone
" thanks. I've a degree in theatre " he started
" how can you compete me. A vampire can't compel another vampire " he added finish his statement

" I'm a special vampire " Elijah smirked

To which Elijah hummed " mmm "

" now. I want you to take this stake and drive it through your heart. "
Slater shocked " but that will kill me forever "
Elijah smiled " I know but it's necessary. "
The original stuck his hand out with the steak in it to give to Slater but pulled back before Slater grabbed it " before you do, answer me this. The child... who was she "

Slater looked Elijah in the eye " she said her dad was Elijah and that he had brown hair. That's all "
The suit wearing original nodded " carry on "

Elijah squinted his eyes at Slater's dead body as Dr. Martin the warlock helping Elijah stepped out of his hiding spot " was it really necessary "
Elijah however made no move to answer
" is it true "

" yes " Dr. Martin nodded
" the child is yours "

" it had to be done " Elijah finally answered as he started to make his way out of the apartment, the warlock following in suite
