Chapter 10

On the way back to the hotel, Becky suddenly thought to herself 'We don't have anything for Karen and Lin, as we weren't expecting them.'

She pulled Liv and Kerrie over and told them. Kerrie responded saying:

"There's a really cute gift shop around the corner from the hotel that is always open super late, when everyone is in their rooms changing into warmer clothes we can head down there and grab something from there." 

"Perfect."

"It'll be easy to sneak out as the 3 of us are in one room together!" Liv mentioned

When they got back to the hotel, Becky called everyone over before going to their rooms. "Okay, the function room is booked from 8 onwards so we 45 minutes to wait as it is currently being cleaned from the party that's just finished. Let's all meet here at five to and head in together. They all went up to their rooms to change into warmer clothes and put on their fluffy Christmas jumpers, or in Haiden's case just a thick fluffy jumper and get all the gifts they had brought for each other.

Liv, Kerrie and Becky all managed to sneak out the hotel without anyone noticing and ran down to the shop. They passed a printing store on the way that as still open.

"Wait!" she called. Liv and Kerrie stopped running.

"You two go look in the gift shop for something British we can get as a gift for Karen and Lin, and we may as well get Mandy and Chris a little something while we're at it as a way to remind them of the tour/trip. I'm going to hop in here and print something off. Becky ran in the print shop before the other two could respond why. She printed off 16 A5 copies of the picture they took at the restaurant for each of the girls, and 4 printed into cards for Mandy, Chris, Lin and Karen. She also realised she had all her digital drawings on her phone so printed a few of them in A6 for Lin and Karen. Mandy already had a full album full in her dressing room and Chris was about to get one. She quickly paid and headed into the other shop. The girls had found the perfect gifts for Mandy, Chris, Lin and Karen. They had a small tin of classic British shortbread, that was in the shape of a London Phone Box. They had also picked out another larger gift for Lin and Karen. As they went to pay Becky noticed a pile of London teddies.

"Yo, guys, do you think we should get 6 of these for all their kids as something to take home to them from us."

"One, Becky you sound just like Chris when you say 'Yo'! Two, definitely!" Liv replied

"Yeahhhh, blame Lin and Chris for all my 'Yo's!" Becky said as she grabbed some giftbags and envelopes to put everything in.

They quickly checked out and ran back to the hotel. They had 20 minutes to get dressed, for Becky to write and get all the girls to sign the cards for the others. Becky wrote while the other two got changed and then handed Liv the first ones to do signings, she finished Mandy and Chris's and Kerrie took them as she got dressed herself.

She threw on her Hamilton top, fluffy penguin jumper, her Christmas leggings and a fluffy pair of socks. She then prepped the pictures of the girls as she didn't show those to Kerrie and Liv. She grabbed her Hamiltome, In the Heights book and other art she'd printed off at the store and ran down to the lobby with gift bags falling behind her.

Surprisingly they were successful in their task and were all in the lobby at 7:55. Well all accept the 4 Broadway superstars.
