I was your shadow
He was your rainbow
You were the mortar
He became the pester.
I was the sword to protect, but I became lax in my duty.
I watched with pity
As he continually pulled out your hairs
I was dulled as he threw you down the stairs.
Mute I stayed, the day he dragged you around the parlor and whipped you naked.
I watched in tears.
With the barbed wire he'd brought from his office,
he scarred you while you were under my guard.
My body was numb as he raped you continually
and left you in pools of our blood.
All over, you had tears.
I'm sorry buddy for failing you.
There's no need now for worrying,
I've done away with you.
I've caused us to separate,
so we wouldn't suffer no more.
I made sure he suffered before I left.
I infected you and watched him rape you as I slowly slid from you.
I watched him hurt you once more, as you laid lifeless and cold without me.
He seemed to be enjoying it, for he did it over and over again.
Little did he know what it was gon' cost him.
I watched as his body was flayed.
His screams became a soothing melody to me.
He was your husband,
I am your soul.
He was your past,
I am your future.
Now I'd forever hunt him in eternity
He can't hurt you no more.
